B-b-but why?

I'm sorry dude but having a big time jump just makes it all worse.  That means years worth of content has been scrapped and they just can't do that.

Therefore, why do you want a scene to be saved where your crew abandons you?  Or Hackett gives up and orders a whole one ship to retreat?  Why do you want them all to give up on you?

And I repeat.  The Normandy physically can't be where they say it will be.

I believe that it's not a "retreat",  "abandon" or "give up".

Then why is Joker leaving a field of battle.

And the Normandy still can't be there.  I will keep stressing this point until the cows come home.

Jenonax, my friend, you're kinda doing the equivalent of yelling at a dog for chasing its tail. It's gonna keep on pretending it's doing something worthwhile whether you approve or not ;)

Since YOU, neither I, have the information to assume anything, saying that Joker deserted Shepard is BS of the worst kind.

Freaking Harbinger was right above Shepard... which after thinking to have kileld moved on to the next closed target... guess which one that was? Ah yes... the NORMANDY...

So now Joker had the option to:

1. Stay there and let of all of the crew DIE

2. Flee direct confrontation with a reaper, and regroup in a more safe place (Possible in space among the fleet).

How is he deserting? Shepard is dead for all they know, AND.. they got a giant reaper shooting at them, is not liek they can go "Hold on Harby, let me go down check if Shepard is alive, even though we heard everyone died".

Use your head, and stop assuming bs as if you wrote the damn thing.

Oh right in your mind the writers went "Hmm... I think it would be really cool if Joker deserted Shepard, let's make him run away"... and if you really beleive that, then you are neither a ME fan, nor a person, and are in fact a troll.

I'm all for the scene being removed as there is no way Joker would ever leave.

In the time frame presented to me by Bioware Joker and the Normandy cannot be mid-jump.  It is physically 100% not possible.  It takes hours to cross the sol system from Earth to the Charon relay and Shepard is up in the Citadel for max half an hour and that's being generous.

How exactly did Joker pick up the crew, get through the Reaper battle twice and get to the Charon relay all in that time line and for what freaking purpose?

I'm not trolling I am pointing out the logical fallacies presented to me by Bioware.

What the hell are you talking about?
The Normandy is part of the fleet, the Normandy is no more in danger than any other ship in the fleet. If Harbinger is stupid enough to try and get one specific frigate, then Harbinger is going to get his face torn apart by dreadnoughts.

Joker's sole duty is to remain in the fleet, fighting the battle under Hackett's command.
Did the other ships flee? Did the cruisers that sacrificed themselves against Sovereign in ME1 flee? No. So what gives Joker the right to?

Alright... for one.. I already gave you LOGICAL explenations on why Joker is leaving, and you just replied "there is no way Joker would ever leave", that is no reply at all, please see what I wrote there, and tell me how would it make sense that joker stays under harbinger, endangering the whole of normandy.
There is no way Joker is in charge of the ship, he answer to whoever replace Shepard when he/she is not aboard, AND, there is no way for the Normandy to win a fight against Harbinger, you can only run away if you want to survive, so if Joker stayed, he and 50+ other people would have died, this is not who Joker is, endangering other's people life.

Second, to me when Joker is runnign away, it does not look he is using a Mass relay, that scene is EXACTLY the same as during the loading screens of ME2, when you travelled within a system at FTL without sing a relay, meaning Joker was in the sol system around it when it got hit.

Joker endangered HIS life and no one elses when the Normandy was first destroyed, he wasn't putting the whole crew at risk so he could save his toy, Joker is not a murdering moron, he is more of a suicidal moron, but murder is what he would have done if he stayed there under Harbinger.

@Angryone
Ah right, so the Normandy was already up in space fighting? Meaning it wasn't fleeing at all? I see... so no reason to call Joker a coward, since he never left the battle at all. YOU are assuming he is in space. Yet we have see nthe Normandy in London...

But whatever, I see here you all like to bandwagon together and be cozy and point fingers giving no evidence to support your side, yet you say I have none...

All you are doing is "Rabble, rabble, rabble HATE ME3, Rabble, Rabble*

I am done here.

Okay, for one, calm down.  I'm all for calmly debating all this stuff.

When one is a soldier in battle one takes orders from one's commanding officer.  In this case Hackett.  Joker would not be able to leave (the rest of the Earth fleet certainly don't) unless directly ordered to.  Soldiers are in life or death situations all the time and don't run away or retreat unless ordered to and if they do they are branded cowards and are dishonourably discharged.  This battle we're having is the most important one we have ever and will ever have.  Joker has no reason to run.  What is he running to?  Certain death.

Second, to me when Joker is runnign away, it does not look he is using a Mass relay, that scene is EXACTLY the same as during the loading screens of ME2, when you travelled within a system at FTL without sing a relay, meaning Joker was in the sol system around it when it got hit.

If he's still in the sol system, then, which jungle planet did he crash land on.  Jupiter?

Joker endangered HIS life and no one elses when the Normandy was first destroyed, he wasn't putting the whole crew at risk so he could save his toy, Joker is not a murdering moron, he is more of a suicidal moron, but murder is what he would have done if he stayed there under Harbinger.

No, it would have been his duty.  There's a difference.  Chain of command negates any sense of responsibility.

Ah.. brilliant.. so Hacket saying to pull back beacause everyone's dead was an halluciantion? I cannot see a mroe obvious order thna that.

And I see you are an expert on the galaxy, and know for a fact that there are no other planets nearby the Sol system, and the Sol system is the only system available in hundreds of light years.... and you read this where?

And on your final line, you are assuming again what Joker would do, yet you are not Joker, nor have we seen Joker going against a direct order without Shepard consent, so I do not know on what you are basing these theories...

Hackett said for Hammer to pull back.  Joker's not part of Hammer.  Furthermore, Hackett then contacts Shepard up in the Citadel.  They haven't pulled back then.  And then we see the battle is still raging up above us in the Catalyst's chamber.  Still haven't pulled back.

You said that the Normandy was still in the Sol System.  Stop moving the goalposts when your argument isn't going your way.

I am not assuming anything.  My best friend is military.  That's the way it is.  Joker has not been ordered to retreat, neither has the rest of the fleet.  He is a deserter for leaving.  I am simply going off what the game has presented to me.  If Hackett ordered the Normandy to retreat, why the hell aren't we shown him doing so?

Good god.
First of all, it wasn't Hackett. It was a female marine and Coates. How precisely you confuse a woman and an Englishman with Lance Henriksen I don't know.
Secondly, that was a retreat order for the ground forces and the ground forces only, it had nothing to do with the fleet that is still there fighting the Reapers during the Catalyst scene.

Quit making crap up. It's annoying.

At least some pro-enders use what's there, with different interpretations.
