The OP has a promising future in writing Creationist literature. The strategy of "if don't like the empirical data then just make sh*t up until it makes sense to you" is perfect for that line of work.
I really do applaud your creativity, OP; but please work on forming a better understanding of the word "logical."
I'll say it again, Empirical Data... there is a lot of it out there surrounding the ending. Use that form your theories and you will have a much firmer footing on which to stand.

B-b-but why?
I'm sorry dude but having a big time jump just makes it all worse. That means years worth of content has been scrapped and they just can't do that.
Therefore, why do you want a scene to be saved where your crew abandons you? Or Hackett gives up and orders a whole one ship to retreat? Why do you want them all to give up on you?
And I repeat. The Normandy physically can't be where they say it will be.
I believe that it's not a "retreat", "abandon" or "give up".
Then why is Joker leaving a field of battle.
And the Normandy still can't be there. I will keep stressing this point until the cows come home.
There is no "leaving a field of battle"... Again, I don't believe the jump was made when most people believe it was made. And this what my theory is about... I believe the test-jump what was realy meant, not a retreat. I believe that the jump was made much later than the Battle for Earth was ended.
...If you have some real theories about this (not a "bad writing", "space magic" or "IT"), then speak. I'm all ears

I'll ask this again, because you so conveniently avoided the question.
Why in the holy hell would the game make an unexplained, unmentioned chronological jump from the Reaper battle, to a test launch, with no context, foreshadowing, or exposition? If it's a test launch, why are all of your squadmates on the ship? Why is Javik present? After all, he has 1 of 3 outcomes depending on your relationship with him (Suicide, living amongst the Hanar, and writing a book with Liara), with none of them entailing future military service.
Why are you so incapable of seeing how asinine your "theory" (That isn't even a theory) really is?

This is art OP. A theory doesn't exist here. You cannot justify your analysis with scientific fact, because no such thing exists.

As far as I remember, I answered these questions already actually:
(1) To confuse you, and force you to think.
(2) They volunteered to be a part of the first fully-staffed test-jump.
(3) And why not?

This thread IS awesome, simply because it's a single person trying To defend a pont of view with nonexistent evidence whatsoever, and refuting evidence given by dozens over and over again.

1. So just to f**k with people? Good to see that doesn't answer my question at all.
2. You don't test launches fully staffed. Granted, the Alliance is incredibly stupid in ME3, so they might actually do that.
3. Well, he sort of tells you that he isn't going to ever be a part of military work again. Like I said, he plans on killing himself, living like a god among the hanar, or writing a book with Liara. Where, in any of those, did you see "volunteer for pointless test flight"?

It's rather pointless because once somebody has started to make stuff up to support his theory, there's nothing to stop one from always making more stuff up in response to counter arguments.Jenonax wrote...

You see, in the Bizarro world Seival lives in, bad writing is good writing, a DEM is an inherently good plot device and misleading scene structure is good writing, too. So, in this strange world, a writer only truly succeeds if his writing is as misleading and incoherent as possible.Joe Del Toro wrote...

Do you think an allusion to humanity's first mass relay test (about 30 years in the past) is relevant to your theory?
Not really. That was an attempt to use 100% functional and calibrated mass relay. It's not the same as testing of reconstructed/reactivated mass relay.

Idea for my next story.
WWII, in the year 2103. In order to stop the Taliban from annexing all of Africa's chickens, our hero, Mitchell Blumpkin, needs to travel to the Cheesecake Factory and buy all of the penguins from the Love Guru. Then, he needs to take the penguins and put them in matryoshka dolls to make them transform into Super Saiyans. At the end, Blumpkin fights Santa Christ who is the leader of the Taliban, but Santa Christ is too powerful. Suddenly, Abraham Lincoln comes back from the dead and saves the day.
It's a prequel to Wall-E.
