As far as I remember, I answered these questions already actually:

(1) To confuse you, and force you to think.
(2) They volunteered to be a part of the first fully-staffed test-jump.
(3) And why not?

1. So just to f**k with people? Good to see that doesn't answer my question at all.

2. You don't test launches fully staffed. Granted, the Alliance is incredibly stupid in ME3, so they might actually do that.

3. Well, he sort of tells you that he isn't going to ever be a part of military work again. Like I said, he plans on killing himself, living like a god among the hanar, or writing a book with Liara. Where, in any of those, did you see "volunteer for pointless test flight"?

(1) One suggestion: don't read Dark Tower... Ever... Or you might want to beat Stephen King for the ending :)
(2) All kind of test-flights are needed. Including the fully staffed ones.
(3) He could change his mind. It's as simple as that.

Ever learn about something so ridiculously stupid that it's the only thing that occupies your mind for a few days, as you try to discern what its purpose could possibly be, but then later figure out that no such purpose exists, and so you come to the conclusion that the only reason it exists is to deliberately f**k with people?

That was Synthesis for me.

How can the Normandy flying not be after the explosion? The colour changes depending on what you pick..

On the question: some long-term post-effect of Crucible's explosion maybe?

It has no purpose. Which is my point. It's a device of pain and suffering. All it does is make people look foolish.

Everytime I raise a question about Synthesis.

NOPE TABOO IT'S GENIUS. WE CAN'T APPLY OUR RULES TO THEM.

Bull ****.

I have a whole load of reasons why the normandy retreat scene doesn't work from your loyal squad mates saying they'd fight to the end and follow you into hell its self and Garrius and liara personally

To the collector base how joker stayed to pick up shepard and squad mates while they were taking heavy fire

Or How joker plays distraction against the cerberus forces giving shepard time to get jack and the biotic kids out of grissom academy their is so many reasons going against this whole the normandy fleeing scene when it is against their characters to do so and also the rest of the fleets aren't retreating

And I'd expect my squad to stand their ground to the very end no matter what it just comes off like you like betrayal or how betrayal you think is acceptable in a military based situation try abandoning a war or leaving your forces during a war in rl

Wanna take a guess what happens either you get shot or killed or fleeing the battle or you get a dishonorable discharge almost making impossiable to find a decent job

Beyond that I just think you're really shooting yourself in the foot with this thread

But none of them are green.

Sort of debunks your theory, doesn't it?

That is not proof or evidence.

Your basically saying the Normandy is flying away and the colours we see are basically from whatever relay is exploding that their near? Highly unlikely. For starters, the Crucible is the first thing to explode and creates said colour, red/green/blue. The relays are merely destroyed in the process.

As for a long term explosion, I just can't understand that. You can clearly see the size of the explosion, the impact is being teleported through relays, the Normand can barely outpace it and yet it's some how a long  term explosion? Sorry but I don;t buy this

Put Synthesis supporters and comic book villains in the same room. It would be rather difficult to tell the difference.
That's why people just want to deny the ending and wish it was some kind of test.

Don't take anything bad by this, but that's a generalisation.

The problem is, it's such an accurate f*cking generalisation. I hate that. When I see people on here saying crap like 'It's best for everyone because transhumanism is so super awesome' I get genuinely a but disturbed. It's exactly like Magneto in the first X-Men movie.
