Why would they  reunite Shepard's squad for some kind of stupid test jump? Do they test like every single possibility? What next, 200 Vorchas, 37 Voluses and one Krogan onboard the Normandy?
This theory makes less sense than the ending.

Yeah, they probably do this every year as part of their Normandy reunion.
They get on the Normandy together, have the Mass Relays explode in their specific color (which for some reason has something to do with the ending Shepard chose), crash land on some random planet, then have Joker and two (not more, not less) other random squadmembers leave the ship in hope the environment isn't lethal.
It's the only thing that keeps Javik from killing himself.
Don't you people see it makes sense?
