I think the full-retard FAQ actually made the thread worse.

It's like a joke. I actually laughed at some of the "counter-arguments" Seival uses, if you can even call them arguments. I'm almost sure by now that he is trolling us. Whenever somebody's arguments are so bad they're laughable it's most definitely a troll.

Seival wrote...

Q: Why not replace usual Normandy's crew with some engineers? They will definitely do better.
A: Actually they will not. Test-flight (especially the very first one) needs a team that can act effectively in extremal situations, not scientists. Military crew is much more preferable.

That makes no sense.
You're avoiding the question: What kind of role does Javik fill in on the Normandy?
The answer is: Living test dummy.

Q: Why do you think BioWare really meant the test-flight? What was the purpose of the scene?
A: First of all, scene could prove that the Relays were reconstructible. And galactic civilization will not be doomed to be separated forever, or for a very long time. Second the scene could mean that the Relays are the only way to travel between clusters fast enough. Even if galactic civilization will get rid of the Reaper tech, it will eventually lead to inventing their own mass relays. So, basically, the scene might be a proof that Mass Relays will always be a part of games, based on ME universe.

No conjecture. Do I have to quote Patrick Weekes again?

Galactic civilization will rebuild. The mass relays were not necessary for interstellar flight.
Remember, what does it say in the Codex about the speed of ships? That's right, 12 lightyears per (day? hour? minute?). And that's only the cruising speed, not the maximum speed.

People have never needed to research basic FTL improvements before because they have mass relays. With the relays gone, new technology will increase that speed. Additionally, the element zero cores of the dead/controlled Reapers can be used to improve FTL drives. Starflight will continue using conventional FTL.

Btw, you've avoided both the questions why Mass Relays change color and why none of the ME2 crew is on that test jump.

That argument is utter, absolute garbage. Crew "psychology" does not enter the bloody jump. Huge majority of them do things which in no way effect actual jump. They could safely be replaced with cattle tied down for equivalent "payload".

And if jumps go to "safe" areas where help is available, there is zero need for "people ready for anything".

Hint Seival, what test pilots are is EXPENDABLE! They have no knowledge or abilities which would hamper anything if lost. Compare this to Liara & Co.

And while test pilots are expendable, nobody with even remote sense would ever staff test flight you propose with anyone important. Or anyone sentient. Cows tied up in place could fill in for practically every crew member, because there is nothing to even remotely suggest that the crew has any other purpose during jump through relay but cargo. At those speeds, anything that takes place has been over ages before even most souped up human could react.

If they were testing the relay. Why use the the most advanced successful ship in space?
Why waste the most effective team in the entire war, when they need them on the front lines?
Why is your theory complete garbage?
Why does your FAQ avoid actually answering the real questions?
LOTS OF SPECULATIONS!!!

Lol yes Javik changes his mind about suicide to stay on Planet Inbreed and starve to death.

Why would Shepard exit the Normandy last? He or She got disintegrated or blown to **** in the destroy ending.

I didn't think it was possible to create a worse than the one Mac Walters wrote but you Seival have out done yourself.

Also you should be a comedian because I can't stop laughing at this

I was literally on the floor laughing and gasping for air after I read the FAQ.

iHorizons... Even Sauruz started to counter-argument my counter-arguments, which is very good. So, I think you also should try to be constructive.

If you will read the tread carefully, then you will notice that you are wrong.

...Besides, quite few people are actually posting here. I hoped there will be much more.

You are in total denial and, indeed, grasping straws. You do not try to convince someone to be more constructive, if you did you would accept that your theory has bigger holes than already pathetic ending of ME3.

You are repeatedly getting them pointed to you, but you just come up with some illogical idea of "explanation" and then hit the La-La-land, shutting your ears from further criticism.

You want constructive attitude. Here is something constructive... Your theory is totally, absolutely flawed. It cannot be built upon, most constructive thing to do is to tear it down and try to think another, more logical, one.

Oh god, are we all getting trolled here?

That would be an epic twist...

Not to mention that the one who made the 'official' Control support thread would turn out to be a troll.
What next? Ieldra2's vision of Synthesis turning out to be nothing but pipe dreams?

Well, first of all you should counter-argument each of my conter-arguments (answers) from FAQ. You didn't cover them all yet. And please, do it in one post.

If I will see that some of your counter-counter-arguments could be counter-counter-counter-argumented without quoting the FAQ, then I'll do it. If not, I'll just say that "I already answered that particular counter-argument in FAQ already".

...If the FAQ didn't cover some other questions, please let me know :D

That's ridiculous! You refuse to argue against me unless I argue against every single point of your FAQ? What the frigging f*ck! I've used actual evidence in one of my arguments, you can't just say you disagree with freaking evidence! You've got to be trolling me!

My spidey senses are trembling.

Interesting. But that fact that you had to dig so much up and have to justify it, means that the endings are crap

I actually laughed out loud here - a few pages back I posted some counter-arguments, then realized they were similar to those brought up by Sauruz already, so I wanted to see the response to his. Now we actually have to follow a process, like we're getting a license at DMV or getting an app approve from Apple or something ...

Of course - the narrative is completely botched. Nobody in their right mind would actually make the same assumption as Seival that what clearly is supposed to be one scene actually includes a sudden, unexplained jump in time. And then Seival says that's supposed to show us how galactic society rebuilt itself - wait, how is it supposed to show anything if it's so intransparent? Nobody in their right mind would make this same crazy assumption. Did they write the story specifically for Seival?
I've seen conspiracy theories that are less convoluted than this mess.

Seival, please explain the Shepard breath scene. It makes no sense to be there if you think the Normandy went through a test jump, or are we to assume that Shepard was lying half-dead in rubble for the past 25 years?
