So...is Seival supposed to be, like, the archvillain of these forums or something?

At OP, lolnope. This is way out in la-la-land. There's nothing to give the impression of your idea, but there's a lot showing that the Normandy crashed directly after Shepard chooses his end.

Wow, still surprised by how far people go in make-believe head canon...

Yay! I like you, Seival. You're one of the few people posting on the BSN educated enough to understand exactly what symbolism in literature is. It seems most people take things super-literally, and they're just after facts in their hokum-laden science-fiction.

So I salute you, Seival. You're going to be one of the few voices here that actually understands the purpose of telling a story. A story. It just... amazes me how many people don't understand what these things are. Symbolism; Stories; Allegories; Ideologies; Fiction. Star Trek (TOS and TNG) were filled with allegories. Did no one watch Star Trek?

It's genuinely frustrating, sometimes.

Yep. This is it. The one Seival thread which made it to over 70 pages (at least 20 of which are various pictures, I assure you) and spawned a parody thread which also made it to a respectable 8 pages.
I admit this thread brought up some joyful memories and spontaneously made me chuckle (even though I've also spent a wole lot of wasteful effort actually arguing with Seival... It was a more innocent time - we were alll young and crazy). And I've laughed out loud a lot re-reading some of the posts (and at some of the pictures) on the last few pages. But...

Haha, a Seival supporter? That's a new one.
Even if you meant that sincere, why would you post it in this thread? It's about how they supposedly showed us just a test jump of the new, rebuilt Mass Relays, complete with the full Normandy crew, even though many of them have little to no idea of the inner workings of an Alliance ship and Javik should've freaking commited suicide. Even for a Seival thread, it's stupid.

I have not read in any text of dialouge, not in-game, nor in novels or comics that state humans live to 150 (at least that I remember). Can anyone back this up?

Shepard says its the average human life expectancy in ME1, when talking to Liara about her own age and how humans/asari grow

Shepard tells Liara in ME1 that humans are lucky to hit 150 when they talk about how other species view them.  I think I remember Revelation mentioning human's life spans and how aging is slowed down.  Kahlee Sanders, for example, is supposed to be in her 50's in ME3 but doesn't look it.

Why would he post about symbolism in a thread dedicated to a quite literal interpretation? This has got nothing to do with that, nothing Seival talks about has anything to do with the list of concepts and techniques he listed.

I mean, this was a really stupid attempt to logically explain the scene, not discuss the meaning behind it, that's blatantly obvious. I thought Auld Wulf was supposed to be our messiah, come to enlighten the unwashed masses of BBA.

So are those who carelessly handwave visual information and make ignorant, binary generalizations, especially when it comes to grasping symbolism.

I can't believe I didn't find this thread sooner. It's gold.

I've seen a lot and lived a lot, but I still can't wrap my head around the existence of someone like Seival.

It's a scary thought to think that people like him/her exist in the world. I genuinely shudder at the thought.

"My theory is correct because my information that I made up says so." - Typical Seival/Auld Wulf thread.

Exactly my feelings.

I'm going to print it in book form, and read it as a bedtime story to my future children.

Based on the plot-construction of the ending, this theory doesn't hold up. The energy shockwave and narrative construction make it very clear that Joker is outrunning the original shockwave of the Crucible firing.

Considering that the original pre-EC Normandy crash scene had the Normandy's engines shown to shear OFF their mounts, then miraculously repaired without aid of a spaceyard ...
Well, oh wait, symbolism right?

Gotta love how everyone here likes to call out Seival for being a troll...

... then proceed to bump/troll his threads zealously.

I see The Angry One school of trolling is still strong with us, even if she's gone. ("It's not trolling if *I* do it!")
