From Guillemot, president of Ubisoft says Watch Dogs is going to be a series akin to Assassin's Creed.

A series?

Excuse me, I need to find some lotion.

I need to get my hands all wet and slippery so I can...crap, that's counterproductive towards gripping a controller.

Nevermind.

That's what he hinted at. Says the team is building a little world, with history and characters much like the Assassin's Creed team did when developing AC1. So we should see sequels quickly following this one.

This along with Beyond: Two Souls are the best surprises from E3 and I doubt anuthing is going to top it.

The subject matter alone is enough to get me interested. Combine that with the potential to be a super hacker who can control anything in a world where everything is computerized, and I'm preordering.

Look fine . But remember.. Demo like this are staged and overly controlled. When you will play .. probably going to feel like this.

AKA .. You`re not going to take your time and walking like a champ ... and feeling like in a movie .. No no .. You will probably run like a retard and clipping  through wall .. That scene with the car crash .. It`'s a scripted events..

Has for the graphic .. Have seen better in Max Payne 3. I`m not overly impressed. Until the day I have it and I can take a  close look at the texture and effect. Remember Vanilla skyrim?

All that I am saying . .i am that easy to hype. It`s just a short staged demo of a video game.

Good job Suprez30 you just diminished every good game ever made because your not happy with Skyrim and GTA IV....
Of course it was heavily scripted and a lot of it was staged for demo purposes. Hello thats every game ever played at E3.... You that jaded that no game can ever look and play good for you ever again?

I just watched the footage a 3rd time and a few things that I really like but only noticed this time. The rain just gorgeous. The john woo style slide over car and shoot the guy in the face. All the people your looking up through your phone "so and so loan application denied" "tested positive for HIV" Holy cow everyone has something about them even random pedestrians that is just sick!
And I really like that little moment when he was pulling Demarco (SP?) out of the car break his arm and then tap on it like their buddys but like a F you to him lol. Its obvious your character has personality and he's not just going after these kills for money or whatever he's insulting them too.

It won't happen, but I wish this game had dialogue trees like DAO/Mass Effect.

Though that would sacrifice the flow of conversation that the game has already. I like the transitions and the dialogue at least for the demo was REALLY top notch.

You don't know what I would give to play CDPR's CYBERPUNK with a character that looks like Lisbeth.

Maybe them playing the demo on PC is a sign of goodwill.

I think the graphics, voice acting and atmosphere are what make it so impressive. If I've any concerns it's mission structure and depth, something that seems lacking in openworld games that aren't RPG's.

I'm hoping the missions in this game don't all end up being massive shooting galleries.

At the least I'd like some Deus Ex inspired stealth involved.

Yeah, it's pretty and everything, but the concept is what has me sold. From the trailer and the actual dialogue in the demo, it seems like ti does care about it's story. If the rumors are true, and it's being handled like Assassin's Creed's team handled their "history" then this is going to be good.

I love how it has that "Eagle Eye" feel to it.....as well as how there's both Deus Ex and GTA in there as well :)

Will this game have DRM?

If so, even for the PC version which I won't be playing, its a no-go for me automatically.

Knowing Ubisoft, most likely.

this game does look really innovative thought they were going to implement multiplayer in there as other members of your team sort of like a mission impossible type game were your team works together to take down a target, also noticed they borrowed that pop up theme from the movie bedazzled, in any event looking forward to this ...

I just saw the 2 player element. Not sure what it is but whatever it is it looks unique. Apperantly a 2nd player can be in your game playing their own campaign that might tie into yours?
Interesting.

My favorite game of E3 so far, very cool concept. I hope there is an intriguing story behind it.
