I loved that gameplay trailer, the guy went up to the line outside the art show and he was like "lol, f*ck your phone calls you sheeple"

Said in another thread, but I'll say it here as well, this game makes me want to play Deus Ex:Human Revolution again.

@LPPrince

It already made me start a new playthrough. Watch Dogs is going to be one of the best games of this gen. Too bad it took them so long to come up with it.

This game kind of reminds me of Ghost in the Shell, especially with the main character who reminds me of the Laughing Man.

This game looks incredible and very interesting. I look forward to this and even willing to throw more money at Ubisoft... I don't normally like Ubisoft because of their DRM, but dammit I really love their games XP

I read that the developers for this game are going to treat it similar to the Assassin's Creed series, does that mean they plan on doing multiple games based on this or they're going all-out in adding as much detail to the world as possible?

Because to expand a little on both ideas, I would love to be able to visit other cities and countries in this game (or their sequels).

Biggest surprise at E3? I think that reward goes to this game. Looks great.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution what?

I saw on Twitter that "the core of Watch Dogs is going to be online." So that's that, then.

I hope it sucks. trololol

I don't play CoD. And if you think forcing you to play online all the time is about innovation, well, my trololol turns to lolol.

Judging by the 2nd player bit at the end of the demo it looks like they have a VERY VERY good reason for it needing to be online.... But please by all means assume its because its just DRM BS.

It comes down to what you value. Multiplayer and Co-op and MMO's are everywhere. Like we need any more social gaming opportunities.

If it's not a single player game, I wouldn't be interested anyway.

I'll take a wait and see approach to the online component - I will play a game online if I enjoy the online aspects of it enough (e.g. Dark Souls).

But if it's for DRM purposes or if it's useless, I'll be passing on this one.

I don't care if it has online multiplayer, I only care about single player mode XP If the game has that, then I'm set.

Unless this game becomes the next biggest disappointment since Brink; and I made that kind of comparison because Brink seemed like a very interesting game along with being rather promising.

What you guys come on the internet to complain about the internet or something?
Its 2012 almost every gaming company is pretty much embracing the internet. Either accept that or your gaming choices are going to be very limited.
I sure know a 2nd player in my game isn't enough to ruin it for me.

The online component is for co-op missions and multiplayer.[/quote] That's all they've said on the subject since that component is still being worked on.

I don't like the idea of being forced online to play a single-player game - but if the purpose of it is useful... if it is an integral and fun aspect of the game... I'd consider playing it.

But s*** like what Blizzard did with Diablo III? To hell with that.

If I understand correctly, Diablo III requires you to be online all the time while having no reason for having you online, correct? From what the head dev said on IGN, it's for me to go into your game and use my skills as a hacker to keep my eyes on you. It sounds like it's going to be drop-in co-op, but with the added benefit of f*cking with you for my own amusement. Which sounds like fun given the abilities you get as a hacker. Watch you with street cams, jam the train you're riding, cause a 20 car pile up while you're running away, or chase you in a car while your car falls between the bridge as I raise it.

Oh snap, that sounds freakin' awesome, and it... well, it sounds a bit like the invasions in Dark Souls, actually - those are hella fun tbh.

I'm in agreement! I'm the biggest critic of online all the time DRM but I feel this is different.
