Screw the Geth

It is the same thing with the Geth. The reapers are predictable, and it is that predictability that makes them easy. Cerberus are easy because i am shooting a squishey like myself with out all my fancy tricks. You are either a shooter or a target the geth are the means by which you are measured.

Excuse me, but what did someone else farming actually do to you, personally? Nothing is what.LoboFH wrote...
No, we better blame the real culprit of the situation, ergo, some lazy players exploiting the design mistakes of this map and BioWare because they are taking the wrong re-balance measures. These annoying measures only affect the players in the other maps, FBWGG is just a little bit harder but still the same childs playground. This is like DRM, only screws with legitime owners.richcz3 wrote...
Or blame the Whiners who whined incessantly about FBWG farmers. How many topics posted by whiners had to point that out before Bioware decided to uberize the Geth. We can't blame Bioware.. its the moronic whiners that are to blame. Search those Topic starters and be sure to thank them![]()
"Whiners" are right, FBWGG farming is pathetic.

That sniper is called Geth Rocket Trooper. It has a homing missile that follows you unless you dodge it at the very last second.Xaijin wrote...

That can't be. All the nerfers assure us that the krysae, a rocket launcher, is not a sniper rifle.

You can dodge it completely and still take full damage.

Only in case of splash damage (or perhaps in case of lag). That happens when the missile impacts on something close to you. The missile is very hard to dodge, and even if you manage to do it, you might get caught in the explosion. I have to add, that I personally have no problem with this.Air Quotes wrote...

i) Rocket Troopers firing two rockets at once
ii) Characters being stunlocked while their shields are up, i.e. Krogan Sentinel with Tech Armor at 40% DR can take a rocket and go down to about 1/4 shield on Gold. This SHOULD be enough to keep you running and get to safety, but instead you just get frozen and take more shots.

I must agree with Air Quotes on this. I've clean dodged missiles even on matches where I was hosting... only to Air Stagger. Dodging Rockets has a very low success rate, and so far I've only managed it with Asari, or when I'm high, with human chars

I solo'd them on gold for the first time yesterday!; took 40 minutes, was quite boring, probably won't do it again.

I am not saying it can't be done. Plaing on White, the close quarters explain the splash damage. On less crowded maps I often manage to dodge. Well, not often, but I do succeed form time to time...Lee80alabama wrote...
Dodging geth rockets can be done. The timing window though is rather complicated, and even harder to explain. I manage it every other time I try it seems. I agree though, people blame lag a lot of the times for things that are actually just broken. (Banshee's anyone)

Bingo!!!
If you complain about the buffed geth and you mainly farm white for gold then you only need to look in the mirror to see who is really to blame.
BTW: I see nothing wrong with the geth and to me, they are just fine the way they are (Gold and Silver).

Yeah, keep talking, it affects to me when we have a community event and we must venture ourselves in deep unexplored waters with FBWGG Gold "pro" veterans and we fail hard or struggle to carry them.Cundu_Ertur wrote...

I'm pretty sure that you have to actually roll to dogde them. Thus, the quarian, salarian, and geth "sidestep" dodge move won't cut it. Nor will the asari dash. I think the drell cartwheel works though. If you're playing one of the first three, do a backwards or forwards roll to dodge rockets. Of course, turians and krogan can't dodge at all, so that makes fighting geth all the more irritating for those players.greghorvath wrote...

I hate playing against geth. Always did. Especially the way that they tend to swarm you like flies. THAT is annoying.
Rocket Troopers. Prime's and their triple stun locks. Hunters. Especially Hunters. Hate 'em all.
Exactly. I think the geth would be easier in general if people weren't so reluctant to run away. I'm guilty of this foolhardy pride as well, though. There are times when it makes sense to bail out and regroup, especially against the geth.

I've also been hit through walls, and while in cover. Same with Primes.
And Hunters who take an overload + shotgun to the face and just keep shooting me like nothing has happened REALLY ****** me off. The stagger/stun immune, or nigh immune, hunters are my biggest gripe right now. The rest I can work around, but when I literally can't stop, or slow, the fastest unit in the game from closing to point blank range with a stun-cannon, I think I'm allowed to complain a little. Even if noone cares or listens, I'm still allowed. The pyro range-to-animation bug is horrible, but I usually only get killed by pyros when I have hunters in my face that I couldn't stop from closing.

Monty Python + other side of the map is what I go for when position is being over run. BUT, thats not always an option, like when there are 1-2 primes in sight + rockets + hunters, not with the stun/stagger rate they have.
