Anyone else disappointed? I mean, they scrapped production on the Exalted March that could have possibly redeemed Dragon Age II to continue onto the next big Dragon Age related project, and they couldn't even give us a one minute teaser? I know it's mainly EA's fault but how did EA come about thinking "sports game, sports game, sports game, Dead Space 3, Battlefield 3 DLC, Battlefield 3 paid service. Yup that's a great lineup"

I don't suppose BioWare could give us fans any small insight on the next big project?

I like Dead Space.

I wasn't disappointed, but I'm desperate to hear more about DA3, just concept art or a few little hints or something, anything to get some decent speculation going really lol.

totally agree. also funny to see ray muzyka in the middle of that EA presser sammiched between FPS and sports, ad nauseam... really, makes me think EA is not the best place for bioware, and it makes me worried for the future...

what this means to me is, if were lucky, we may see a E3 '13 announcement, and then maybe DA3 will release within a year of that... so what, are we waiting 2 more years for DA??? and no more DLC???

nows the time i would love to see obsidian do one of their RPG magic tricks, take either the DAO or DA2 engine and make a DA game.

If EA had their way it would likely be Dragon Age football(soccer) Grey Wardens Vs Darkspawn and when the referee makes a decision you dont like he's torn limb from limb by and Ogre lol.

In reality though given that most that didnt like DA2 have already started slagging off the potential DA3 for having the cheek to retain anything from DA2 BW have wisely decided to go mums the word till they physically have something to show

I just wish they didn't scrap Exalted March. When I said "redeem DA2" I was referring to the public opinion. I personally loved DA2. It's no Origins but I by no means think it is a bad game and would have loved Exalted March.

Im not surprised. I'm expecting the DA:3 announcement during the Spike Videogame Awards with a Machinima Trailer

They are usually held in November/Early December. They had a Trailer for ME3 two years ago and I have no doubt they will do the same for DA:3

Just a few more months to go then lol. I hope they give us some more hints before that though.

Maybe they want to take their time and produce a quality game. How about having some patience? :)

Well hopefully instead of spending money on a cg trailer, they will show a gameplay trailer, so we will have some idea of what DA3 will play like. Honestly as long as they don't take 11 years I'm good.

I tried patience, it ended with shattered dreams and all my tears.

Besides, it's not as if "taking their time" and teasers are incompatible with one another.

Not disappointed in the slightest. The longer they go without announcing the game, the happier I am. We wouldn't want another DA2, now would we? One of those is enough, time to move on to taking our time and making an actually good game.

Frankly it's good that BioWare is being quiet these days, they need to take a while to recompose themselves after the series of missteps they've had lately.

This.

Although all the fans who do claim they "want the next DA faster" would actually be satisfied with a 5 second teaser. No matter how long the game is made (and it's actually "the longer the better"... if Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3 would have been released shortly after 2, they wouldn't of had such success, I'd wager)

Would you be happy if they did a powerpoint presentation with some slides filled with nothing but text surely that would make you so happy that your cheeks would glow rosy red with DAO nostalgia ? No ah well guess there's no pleasing some people :D

Meh, I'm happier with their announcing it later than too early. Dragon Age II was announced much too soon; those first obviously-unfinished screens were horrible looking and set the tone for the negative backlash.

Though I'd be surprised if it's still not announced before Gamescom and PAX Prime in August.

I agree, hopefully this is a sign that they're taking the time to do DA3 properly and aren't rushing it.

Don't worry they will probably reuse Exalted March in DA3, or at least its assets for the multiplayer maps.

How about spending some time and money on the game instead of awesome trailers for ****ty products.

I don't see how an expansion can redeem a game.  If your disapointed with a game, why spend more money on it?

I'm actually supremely relieved that it's not at E3 2012. Maybe a lession was learned after the past couple of rushed releases.
