 Anyone else disappointed?

It's like they just don't care anymore. :(

Maybe they want to take their time and produce a quality game. How about having some patience? :)

^Agreed. Time is needed.

So, no DA3, no EC...what the hell will Bioware talk about on-site? Jade Empire?

I believe on a thread about the EC for ME3 Priestly said Bioware would not be at E3 because they didn't have anything to show or say. Which makes sense because for ME they're working on the EC and aren't going to say anything about it until it gets closer to release. Something I believe Priestly also said.

As for DA, they recently announced the cancelled expansion and have just started on DA3 so really, what would they have? All current DA news is out, they don't have anything to show or talk about at this stage of development.

i love all DA games. it gives me a chance to witness Thedas in a wonderful era.
now that being said, is DAO a stronger, numbers heavy RPG? (i love numbers BTW), YES!
did DA2 offer something different, and did it create a new system of character advancement as well as characters that are WAY more fleshed out??? i believe so.

if we can get the gameplay, combat heaviness and pace of DAO with the skin and character development of DA2, i would love it.

it will be interesting to see how bioware handles combat from here on out.
will it stay in the "hyper" fantasy realm of enemies being cut down in fast swaths and body parts exploding?

OR-
will the battles be grounded in a sturdy fantasy physics where spells singe your nose hairs just from being to close to your monitor, and when your character smacks a darkspawn with his shield, will we let fly some excitement poo into our nether containment?!?!?!?

the formula for perfection is there. DAO was an instant "fave game of all time" for me. and like i said i love DA2 as well.

we should all have faith that bioware will make an incredible RPG.
i look at the combat in ME and it just got better and better. i feel like 9 times out of 10 bioware gets this right, DA2 is the exception that proves the rule, and DA3 will RULE!!!

ok, its just getting silly now./... i can't go to sleep, i'm in a bioware spin cycle... ME 1... ME 3... SWTOR... DAO... DA2... ME1... DAO... DA2... SWTOR... ME1... DAO... ME1... DAO... DA2... ME3... SWTOR... oh yeah, i make room for ME2 every once in a while.........

Didn't they have stuff from Exalted March that they are putting into DA3?  Could they have shown that?

It took Origins three years of developement time and DAII two years. Since the later's release it has now been fifteen months, almost half the time it took to develope Origins. Surely they could have something to give to the fans.

I'm wondering if EA is thinking about scraping the DA franchise.

Maybe the Exalted Marches could be their own Dragon Age trilogy. Covering the Exatled MArches on the past.

I'm kind of torn with this one.

I'm ecstatic to know that they are taking fan feed back seriously and are probably trying to take their time to make what can be a great game, but sourly disappointed with nothing. Tbh, all I really wanted was for them to properly announce its development. I wasn't even expecting a trailer or images or anything - just a measly announcement. :(

i just don't like the idea that someone in EA or BIO said "lets develop "the exalted march".
and then after (just a guess) 50% of it was completed someone on EA or BIO said "Stop developing that X-pack, and work on (X)"...?

i just dont ever recall bio announcing and cancelling an x-pack for a franchise thats so important to them. was it EAs call to start it and BIO's to cancel? or the other way around? that info would be really telling.
