Yeah I installed the 1.04 patch last night and today my game cant get past checking my downloadable content when I start up.

It says Checking Downloadable Content, then Checking Save Data, and then goes to Checking DLC again and stays that way.

Plz help. ME3 is inaccessible!!!!

Are you starting the game signed in? If you sign out then start up the game, shouldn't have that problem.

That's why I created this thread:  http://social.biowar.../index/12371921. We shouldn't have to reset the console just b/c we're signed in, that's a programming fail.

Had this problem just today. At first I thought it was my internet because it was taking so long to load. After about 10 minutes I exit the game and signed out of PSN. I've been having some problems with the game, but this is the first time bumping into this.

This just happened to me today after loading just fine yesterday. Do we know how to fix it? I've tried everything I can think of...

Make sure you aren't signed in to PSN when you start up the game. Then you should be able to get to the main menu. At which point you can 'Connect to EA servers' via pressing triangle. This should let you play multiplayer and use the galaxy at war system.

This usually works for me - shouldn't really have to go thru this but it's a temporary workaround until they can patch it...hopefully

I havent had a problem with me3 in a month and all of a sudden i go to play it about an hour ago and now it freezes my ps3 everytime i fire it up, cant get past connecting to ea servers, how can this happen out of nowhere?

My copy worked fine until I downloaded the EC. Patch 1.04 didn't cause this issue for me... the EC seems to have done it!?

I found a solution that works like a charm for me. I noticed when the ME3 logo screen comes on that says "Press START button", do not hit start right away. Wait for your ps3 to finish reading the hard drive (blinking yellow light stops blinking) and then hit start. If I mash start as soon as possible, it locks on me and I have to quit, but if i wait, it never hangs for me. Hope this helps.

Edit:  No need to worry about being logged on or not before starting the game with this method.

I am stuck at Connecting to EA Servers no matter what I do. I tried waiting for the yellow light to stop flashing meaning the hard drive, tried signing into PSN once I was at the game menu. No idea what to do.

OK, deeply weird, the game was stuck for fully 5 minutes on the first screen, then finally gave me a menu. Now I can connect to multiplayer. Something odd going on...

My system was stuck on the Connecting to EA server screen.. I had it freeze about 5 times. However, I just got it to work and so did my friend who had his system freeze twice on the Connecting screen. So, maybe it will work for you now stranger.

I just hope it works after I redownload the DLC. I deleted it to see if it would help.

start the game not signed in to the psn then you should be able to connect to the servers this way, i was having this problem for ages but after downloading the earth dlc this problem didnt occur anymore
