If you were to speed run insanity with an infiltrator how would you set it up?

New Game+ (new game with ME3 Character import), New Game with a ME2 Character import, or just a New game with a new character?

Someone with more Infiltrator experience could help more, but I will give it a shot.

Maximizing your character's ability to combo is essential.
Energy Drain would be a good bonus power, or Reave (for combos with Liara and/or Javik).

- Disruptor Ammo is good for setting up tech bursts. Garrus and/or Ashley can detonate with Concussive Shot.
- Cryo ammo + Incinerate (specced for damage to chilled/frozen targets) is a good combo.
- Sabotage (rank 6 for tech vulnerability) is good for setting up combos or extra tech damage
- Sticky Grenades can set off tech bursts but are limited and may be unreliable. It depends on how comfortable you are with grenades.
- Cloak for damage bonuses is pretty standard. Rank 6 for extra sniper damage or Fire Power without breaking cloak is a personal preference, but I recommend the Fire Power evolution.

Here is an alternative:

Disruptor is probably going to be the best one to mesh with your powers, since it is easy to detonate into Tech Bursts, which you can do with basically any of your powers. Cloak, fire weapon, and hit Incinerate as cloak is breaking and you can set off Tech Bursts many times, especially if you are using something more like the Katana than the Mantis.

I do not think Cryo is going to be the answer from a speed perspective. It isn't instant, damage isn't instant, and the combo is more difficult to set off.

For TC it will depend on what you want to use. You want Damage, Recharge Speed, Sniper Rifle Damage most likely. If you do not want to use Sniper Rifles you should not bother to go past Rank 4 until you max whatever else you want to use. The reason being that you get cloak bonus for 2s after you break cloak so you can always fire a power then take shots from cloak while getting the bonus. "Fire Power" evolution at Rank 6 allows you to stay cloaked after using a power, but staying invisible is not going to let you kill the enemies any faster. Also, if you fire a power under Cloak, it will use the Cloak cooldown, which many times will be faster than using a power by itself... That means you will always want to cloak before you fire any power.

Sabotage is good, really needs Tech Vulnerability. Other than that, I would take Backfire and Explosive Hack.

Level your passive however you want, but the last evolution should be for the Sniper Damage if you are going to use rifles.

Fitness, whatever.

Grenades, I am not so sure how well they fit in. I don't care for them, but if you are out of grenades it is a good way to reload cancel.

Energy Drain is a useful bonus for getting around shield gate. If you are using snipers this is a good way to go.

If you are starting at Level 1 I would get low level DA, Rank 1 incinerate, and concentrate on Cloak, then passive, rank 1 sabotage, then level the powers. You can do a lot of damage with just Cloak, DA, and Incinerate, especially early game.

I was using a level 60 new game plus black widow X extended barrel 5 and sniper modulator , I was running EDI for shield stripping and incinerate, Liara for using singularity to pull enemies out of cover and then headshotting the rest.

So cloak> shoot with warp ammo> incinerate on armor carrying enemies? Since shield drain takes care of all shielded enemies centurions, nemesis, geth etc

The other big problem I have is on banshee, primes etc takes about 7 shots to kill if I don't have armor piercing ammo for a bonus power any tips? Thanks for the help guys
