Happy Birthday NWN!!!  Neverwinter Nights turns 10 on June 18.

That's 10 years of custom content.  10 years of modifying the game to push it beyond where even Bioware thought it could go.

As part of that celebration, the Neverwinter Nights Player Appreciation Days will be celebrating all things NWN - including you, the content creators.  Thank you for your efforts.  Thank you for your time.  Thank you for sticking around and giving this community the innovation and excellence that keeps it competing against the newer games that have come out over the years.

With that....I would like to pose a question.

What, in your opinion, has been the greatest community-driven content achievements over the past 10 years?  Be it a tool, a script, a mod, a model, a system....no holds barred.

We'd like to recognize ALL community contributions by recognizing those that the community agrees have had the most impact.  We'll collect the whole list and then let everyone vote.  Top 5 winning contributions will be recognized with the "NWPAD Lifetime Community Content Award".

This is an opportunity to reflect on what has made our community great.

The current nominees, In no particular order...
1) The NWN Lexicon
2) NWmax
3) NWNTX & Advanced Script Compiler
4) NWN Explorer
5) CODI work
6) Veltools
7) Cleanmodels

9) Set editor
10) Gff edit modified

NWMax. Also NWN Explorer, Torlack doesn't get nearly enough name dropping.

The quantity and quality of work CODI was able to produce(released & unreleased) so many years ago in a relatively short period of time. It was like some modeling god appeared on earth, then ascended into the clouds, never to be seen again.

Lots and lots of stuff. Too many contributions, but I would like to mention those that may not be that obvious. The Customize Character, Lilith, The OHS, Leto, the ACP, Ascadia's Complete Clothing, Lisa's everything... Like I said, so many... -_-

So here's the list as I have it so far is below. Please let me know if I've not captured something correctly.

I'm going to throw NWNx, Lilac Soul's Script Generator, and CEP on there.

What else are the greatest community-driven content achievements over the past 10 years? Which 5 will win the Neverwinter Nights 10th Anniversary Community Content Award?  Voting will come after the list is compiled.  We're just nominating now.

In no particular order...
1) The NWN Lexicon
2) NWmax
3) NWNTX & Advanced Script Compiler
4) NWN Explorer
5) CODI work
6) Veltools
7) Cleanmodels
8) Tileset duplicator
9) Set editor
10) Gff edit modified
11) Java tlkedit
12) Mdl plugin suite
13) The Customize Character
15) Lilith
16) The OHS
17) Leto
18) The ACP
19) Ascadia's Complete Clothing
20) NWNx
21) Lilac Soul's Script Generator
22) CEP
23)  Project Q

Well, if you throw in CEP, you should also add Project Q, maybe CTP, too? Others?
And how about sites, which (still) help to keep this going, like the vault, CTP (hosted by The Harvest Moon Consortium), someone made the DLA-forum available (don't have the link ATM, but I can dig it up, if wanted), ...(maybe this should be another award)?

I have no issues adding anything to the list. The only thing I want to make sure is that, in the spirit of the idea, it be something that in your opinion has been one of the greatest community-driven content achievements over the past 10 years. Be it a tool, a script, a mod, a model, a system....no holds barred.

Subdividing into categories requires subjective distinctions on what is a "tool" or what is a "system" and I'd rather not get into those discussions.

I'll add the ones from your list. Thanks!

I personally find it a bit difficult to vote a top, cause, IMO, this still is alive, because it is all dependent on each other. For me: Projects inspirering input. I would not be into CC without certain tools, who help me to get things CCed. The tools alone didn't do it. Without the forums/community-support, I would probably have given up a long time ago.
But true, categories requires distinctions. And you do the poll. :)

And I have another suggestion: DMFI

As for CTP: Please devide it into the CC-content itself and the forum (which contains tons of tutorials/helpful tips).
As for the DLA-forums: They are hosted by TBotR and to be found here: http://dla.tbotr.com/modules.php

Will do. Thanks for clarifying. I agree wholeheartedly with your post. Things are interconnected and while we can look back and see what the community has done, we still may see the best in the future. I will update the list.
