So I was playing with some friends the other night, and we were discussing what on earth was going on with that awful vanguard glitch-out-of-the-map nastiness. Then one of my friends came up with one of the more brilliant ideas that I've heard recently.

So apparently, in MMO's there is typically a "respawn" command for when the player gets stuck in the world geometry. Since something appears to be screwing with the Vanguard's interaction with the geometry when this glitch is triggered, Bioware should give the player a respawn command that will respawn the player at the starting spawn point, thereby forcing him or her back onto the map geometry!

"But wait! Won't players abuse this to get out of sticky situations like banshee grabs or hunter flanking?"

Well, that's a very good point, hypothetical skeptic! So here's the other part of the good idea: only enable the "respawn" command in between waves! That way, if the glitch happens to be triggered, it will only disrupt the round that it occurs on. Besides, it takes a minute for the glitch to untether the Vanguard from the world and ruin the player's day, so the odds of it being a problem before the end of the wave get even smaller!

As a bonus, any player who ends up falling out of the map/gets stuck somewhere will be able to free themselves by respawning after the round.

From my limited understanding, this glitch is very complicated and difficult to fix. Until said fix is completed, however, why not give the players the power to fix their own games? At most, one wave will be disrupted, and they gain no tactical advantage besides being able to play the game instead of being stuck in an alternate plane of reality.
