lol. Joking aside, I would actually like to see a dwarven romance option...*cough*Sigrun *cough* But I won't slit my wrists if it doesn't happen.

Why hate Dwarves?

As for having a Dwarf as a love interest. I think personality is more important than race. I wouldn't think any different of Varric or Sigrun if they were human/elf/kossith/spirit.

Actually in the DA world, you would be more likely to be an elf.  Dwarves are closer to 4 feet to 4 1/2 feet.  A hobbit (halfling) are about 3 feet tall, give or take 6 inches.    ((and yes I know, there are no (known) halflings or hobbits in DA.  Just using it as a means of comparison))

I guess I'd need confirmation to be sure, but IRL my husband is 6'2. That's definitely about the same ratio my Origins dwarf had with Alistair. I see Elves being closer to 5'7. So I'm still feeling the sting.

I thought that actually may be the case too. For my sake, let's hope so.

Back on topic though - I have seen many people pining for their dwarves-why not?  

You know, I'd be happy with just more dwarf NPC's in general, and I'd definitely romance one if the personality was right. But with fans clamoring for romanceable kossith, I predict dwarf LI's taking a back seat this time around.

varric: tried it once but it didn't work, this dwarf is too lovable i said to myself but we had to keep things professional...bianca was getting jealous.
