In DAII the female dwarves were beyond cute - they were gorgeous and exemplary in every way. We just never saw a single one of them.

What about Bromance?  Gotta say, one of the best moments of DAO for me was being Oghren's wingman.  Although I suppose that situation would work with anyone, not just dwarves.

No ginger hair! Same facial structure , same eyes that looks a bit off and same passion with beer and fighting.
Though he had a marvelous Sean Connery like torso.Ah chesthair ...it really does make a romance better

I fear poor Sigrun will never return due to the fact that she's very easy to kill in Awakening. She dies during the siege of Warden's Keep even if you fully upgrade it, and if you don't complete her companion quest and befriend her, then she runs off to the Deep Roads.

I think Oghren might think Varric is a lady after a few drinks , since varric have no beard and have some nice jewelry around his neck.
Guess Oghren wouldn't improve Varric's view on Orzammar.

In DAO, I made an ultra hawt LORD AEDUCAN with Oghren's haircut who romanced Leliana. She was the only LI who would actually get down properly on one knee to kiss a dwarf! IT WAS AWESOME. ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST PERFECT COUPLES EVER.

Lady Aeducan and Zevran were kewl too. Dwarf and elf? HELL YES.

And of course I was talking mainly about surface dwarves. the ones in Orzammar are kinda meh. But Varric is awesome. Though I'd also take Vartag Gavorn and Adal Helmi.

In DA:O when you're in a romance with Alistair as a female dwarf, at one point when he's saying he's attracted to you you can say something like "Even though I'm a dwarf?" and he says "Especially because you're a dwarf!" D'aww.

And I don't think he was just saying it to be nice. I think Alistair digs dwarves.
If it's good enough for the heir to Ferelden, it should be good enough for our next protagnist, gosh darnit!
