I like using this gun on my grenade clases because then you really get something good for running to an ammo box every few minutes.

Good point. Excellent synergy with Warfighter Package too. AR damage and grenade capacity in one.

Yeah, not everyone chooses to use macros, or have them, to get around game mechanics implemented for balance.
Nice.
Not everyone chooses to reload cancel either. I see nothing in the rules against it.
To quote every krogan, quit your whining.
Oh-ho-ho, someone needs to go to vocab class. Stating a fact isn't whining, get off your high horse. A large difference.
Besides, who mentioned rules? It's quite simple, the game mechanic is that it's reasonably strong but you can't fire it at rapid speeds to make it balanced. Might be nothing about it in the 'rules' but again, it's still been implemented like that in the game for that very reason. That's it clean and simple.

You'd sort of have a point, if reload canceling wasn't an intended game mechanic. Now you're just being stupid.Rifneno wrote...

Hell the game even gave me a talon upgrade and a Crusader II, both guns I look at and laugh my ass off.

I don't understand the big deal about the Harrier. It is nothing special.
It's the first automatic weapon that's the complete package. It deals a nice amount of damage, it's accurate, it has almost no recoil and the reload is quite fast. And it's fun to use.

I've only been able to unlock the Reegar Carbine, which I don't actually enjoy using.
I should of saved up for PSP's, but damn connection problems wont let me last through half a gold match :\\

You pick up extra ammo by staying on the move. Harrier requires you to play like a commando.

I love the sound it makes. Finally a good full auto assault rifle and another really good all-around full auto weapon, besides Hurricane/Revenant on the Turian Soldier. Low ammo capacity can be annoying, as you need to go past an ammo cache every half minute or so. It also seems to actually have more recoil when fired from cover, which is just weird.
i changed my play style when i use this AR. really helps. i don't get frustrated by ammo capacity. i have also noticed the recoil issue. thought i was imagining things

Yes but you have to live in a pond. I mean, near ammo box.Feneckus wrote...

I guess but it still lacks real fire power imo.

It's not a big deal with a mobile enough playstyle and getting to an ammo box is fairly easy most of the time. And you have thermal clip packs for those times it's not. During upload/hack objectives where you can't quickly zip out to grab some more ammo, is where the low capacity hurts you the most. But yeah, if anything it's an annoyance, not a huge drawback.Peacemaker_ic wrote...

Not really. A Harrier I is as effective as a Claymore X on a Human Soldier.

Really? Looks an awful lot like whining to me. Someone is doing something you don't approve of that's not breaking any rules, and you're complaining because of some incredibly stupid idea that it's morally wrong not to worsen one's carpal tunnel because of a video game's design. Deal with it.
And don't try to speak for the developers. You have no more idea what their thoughts are on it than anyone else, myself included. However I do know that the maximum RoF the mattock can do is achievable by simply clicking very fast for many people. I haven't timed it but I think I can do it. I choose not to because, again, worsening my carpal tunnel over a video game moral dilemma that exists only in the heads of some self-righteous users, is ridiculous.

As are you if you think the game developers didn't expect turbo buttons. What next, do you want to cry about people turning down their gamma when using hunter mode?

Playing as a commando means:
Jumping from cover to cover, staying on the move and using opportunities to shoot and kill enemies.
This isn't bunker effect 3, you are supposed to play the game as a team of commandos, and playing like that makes the game easier.

I'm not crying about it. I couldn't care less if someone used macros in the game. It's still completely moronic to draw parallels with a game mechanic and something that requires you to use external means to gain an advantage in-game.Rifneno wrote...
