For HV speedruns I use Reegar X (Barrel, Shredder) + Warp ammo 3 + Shotgun amp 3 + Cyclonic mod 3 + Shield booster gear. Build: http://narida.pytalh.../#50NAKOR@0@0AA

Reegar is the sole reason I got sub-25 min time. With Wraith or Talon (even at levels 9-10) I could never finish in less than 35 minutes. Pre-Rebellion my record was 32 minutes with Graal+Disruptor ammo.

Concerning video requests: I would love to record a proper no deaths HV run, but right now I'm simply out of adequate equipment. I'll return to it as soon as I grind enough credits on regular runs.

Thanks, great job there mate. I'm not a fan of the equipment grind either. What's the most effective way to get level III equipment? JEPs? Spectre packs with maxed out consumables so you get 4 lvl IIIs per pack?

Spectre pack = usually 2 good items and 50/50 chance for a character card, plus a chance to get a gear upgrade. JEP = usually 1 good lvl 3 item and tons of useless trash. So I'd say that SPs are better. I buy JEPs only for spec ops packs.

all claymore 2 GI 2 QMI, pizza, kill, pizza, iirc. so 3 pizza might essentially be better, and maybe all QMI.

I'm sure you guys did it legitimatly but per the rules stated in this thread (By the PC Clan) it must be recorded to be accepted. Guess we all have less than a week to get our best gold time before we all move onto paltinum runs. I'll see if we Xboxers can get together to secure our title. We will see who is the first to break the 15 min platinum barrier.

Out of curiosity, what counts as a valid post here? I've done a 25 minute solo with a Krogan Vanguard before, and I just did 28 minutes this morning. I'd like to challenge the 21 minute mark, but I don't have a way of recording videos.

Is it safe to just upload an image of the victory screen? Otherwise, people will just have to settle for a horribly recorded cell phone video of my own speed run.

I have images of the 28 minute game, but I can beat that time easily. Only reason I failed so hard is because I got terrible, terrible objectives. Wasted a missile that didn't kill during the first hack objective, and the other two objectives consisted of 4 Geth Prime targets each (I raged).

You'll need a video of the full match, but picture quality doesn't matter. Cell phone could work, unless you can borrow a friend's video camera or something. Good luck (especially with the objectives!).

OK so we did a bunch of runs yesterday and while we did not get 9:18 again, we got 9:33, which returns the SpeedRun Crown to where it belongs - the PC

Without smart and good players, that strat won't work and I didn't contributed much, I was lagging all over the place. And epic speech!

Although I wasn't physically helping by shooting stuff in this speedrun, I'd like to think I still helped ;P

I do believe we can still do better (I wasn't playing bwahaha ;P ) but considering that recording dropped fps for kronner and everyone used claymore instead of the krysae, this is a great victory.

It's about time we get this award.

OK so we actually improved the time to 9:21 while not doing everything perfectly according to the plan. With any luck we might be able to get under 9 before Platinum comes out and speedruns will move over there
