I like it. Lets me feel confident that we'll make it to a full extract.

Full extractions are thanks to great medics like me not silly people that can't get kills without the team weakening the target first  Vorcah/Krogan medic to the rescue! Don't worry about that trooper about to stomp you I gots a heavy melee battering ram arm to save you!

wat

if someone is outscoring the rest of the team by a huge margin, he is helping you out big time whether you admit it or not.

please study the part of your post that i bolded and think about why it's stupid.

Yes thats why the person I always see with the highest score goes down more than anyone else as well ... I don't call waiting for weak targets then barley taking them down as being helpful when I have to leave cover to revive them every minute or so ....

This is ridiculous. I'm very used to top score a match where I break shield/barrier with a nice headshot or almost take a boss-like enemy alone and someone else do the killing shot. My assist points take me there without any problem and I never complain about someone else killing my enemies. It is their enemies as well. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

I average around 140k every gold match. I love it when my other teammates help me as well. The only way you can ever get in someones way is by blocking their path or standing right in front of them. It's a co-op game, if I get an enemy down to one shot and you kill it, it's actually much appreciated in my eyes. The only annoying thing in this game is when players cancel out chain reactions.

Racking up kills to the detriment of the team?  How does that even work?

Two words.... wasted motion.

If someone shoots (and presumably finishes off) at a target that someone else is quite happily dealing with when there are plenty of other viable targets around then that's an inefficient use of both players' time and  capabilities.

I'm not talking about enemies with lots of hit points (e.g. prime, brute) where ganging up can be useful, or ones that can wreak havoc with instakill (phantom, banshee) where quick kills are extremely advantageous, but if (for example) that pyro with two bars of armour left, that one of your team is shooting at, is not in imminent danger of scorching a member of your team then surely your high-powered sniper shot would be better served up to the untouched rocket trooper when it pops its head out over cover to fire, no?

Those are the people that when I see them go down I just walk away.

Hah. Are you the kind of player who also always headbutts when playing a krogan and charges everything in sight whilst thinking themselves to be the second incarnation of Jesus Rambo Terminator? I bet you also have a melee mod on your shotgun

If you're doing a Krogan melee build ofcourse you would use a melee mod. Derp.

Also, if you're a Krogan why in the blue hell wouldn't you headbutt all the time? It's the single greatest thing in the game.

honestly i love it, because I have had so many rounds where the entire team is running around like headless chickens( and just about as effective as them too ), though that at times can be its own challenge. Good players are few and far between.... and the chickens, unfortunatly, out number them greatly.

i usually get 100k or more on matches...but with the way i play usually another dude will also get that score, so in the end probably the guy that got last place will leave, but the other 2 will be pretty happy XD

technically speaking you get the same amount of xp by killing 3 Marauders as if you kill 1 Banshee...and theres always more Marauders than Banshees...

I'm.. not really comfortable with a Vorcha medic. Seems like too much of a chance of waking up worse off than you went down. If you wake up at all. Humans are too tasty for them to resist I imagine.

Not surprised to see a golden and a silver revive medal, meaning more than two casualties per wave. That was an inf soloing the game. Every other team mate just serves as a decoy.

Hmmm, sometimes it makes me mad. Or annoyed, rather. If they're legit and just mowing through enemies that's one thing. But when they are obviously trying to hog all the enemies (e.g. I stasis something and they jump in front of me and start shooting it while there are other non-frozen enemies all around it) I get very annoyed. I honestly usually go crouch behind something and browse the net until an objective wave when I end up paired with kill hogs.

I mean, if I see someone carefully aiming to kill a guardian the last thought on my mind is to shoot it before they do. They may be slow at killing it, but practice will make them faster and will only serve to improve your team, assuming you'll be playing more than one session together.

I don't mind them doing most of the work as long as their not getting downed all the time forcing me to run halfway across the map to revive them

If they're actually a good player, opposed to someone just leeching kills off other players and ignoring objectives, and not being an ass, I don't mind it. Nearly every class I regularly play is a support class, and I tend to spec them for maximum support/defense to top that off, and if someone's going bonkers while I distract the enemy bully for both of us. We're doing our respective jobs, and damn well.

If I'm on my SE, all I ask is to leave something for me to ED to recharge shields and keep my DR up. As long as I get something to drain regularly, I'll run around out in the open, decoy, and generally do anything and everything I can to make sure the enemy gets and stays cheesed at me so my teammates have free reign to go nuts. On my SE I consider myself having failed my job if I don't have practically the entire wave gunning for me something fierce.

Lol at OP. So basically you are too slow? I would say learn to play and be as good as them. It is thinking like this that ultimately makes people jealous and then they simply see what the top scorer's setup was and then ask here in BSN to nerf that.

People have figured out which builds are the strongest. Which also means that gold lobbies are now crowded with infs of any type, making it harder than before to play some other class. I would really like to know if a four inf team is that successful?

I usually do that on bronze with my human vanguard, and im always thinking; "i hope theyre not mad cuz im killing everything". Mostly got 90-110k points while the rest has like 15-30k or something around that. I just like swiftness thats all ;)

A couple of ways to look at it. If they aren't treating you like a loser for not getting 100k yourself then no big deal. I know it makes you feel like you are doing nothing because you get to watch your bullets either hit the back of the guy doing this or whiff through where the target's head was just a fraction of a second ago.

If this guy is treating you like your a loser for not getting 100k (which happens, it is the internetz after all). Then well, he's just being a jerk.

I do have to say I know the feeling. Most of the time this doesn't happen, but sometimes you are just doing the team play thing and just feel like your watching one guy play.

Then play better. Only reason for why that player gets so high scores, is because you are pretty much letting him do everything.

I've seen plenty of players who start off getting high score, they also seem to have high revival requirements and the matches end at round 8 due to everyone then being dead.

The score system is not the end-all of determining how good a player is.

When I encounter this at first my pride kicks in and I get upset about it,

Then my brain starts thinking about the credits.

It's all good.
