I can kill faster with so many other weapons including the Saber.
So what is the big deal about the Harrier?

Claymore kills faster and has less of an ammo problem.

Still prefer Krysae Sniper Rifle, because of the option to shoot without breaking the cloak & the SR bonuses. Maybe for other classes It will be fine for me

It does almost as much dps as a hurricane? It's dead accurate? Maybe something like that?

Low ammo cap kills the joy quick...at level I I can only rock it on a Batman with ammo+damage specs.

exactly. you can kill faster with the saber. sounds like your a good shot. some of us aren't like me. i like the stability and automatic design of the harrier but it all comes down the opinion. i like it but some wont. i gather your on the other boat. its not worth understanding why people like it because we all have our own play styles. this just suits some of us.
plain and simple

Missing a claymore shot is pretty unforgiving where as unloading full auto isn't. As for ammo you pick that up on the move. Harrier requires you to play like a commando.
Harrier is exactly what an assault rifle should be. High damage, accurate, and with inate armor penetration. This is how ARs are in real life and it's how they were in the ME universe until ME3 made them pea shooters.

You kill faster with a weapon that weighs twice as much? good job that's how it is supposed to work. and again the harrier is more flexibleStardusk wrote...

For example: I cannot snipe well in this game so telling me that I'd kill things faster with my Javelin than my Predator is moot. The Harrier is also pretty accurate and has a good ROF (although heavy).

Stability isn't a problem for me with the harrier. Easily kills stuff like a pyro with consistent headshots with magazine and EB mods. I put it on my grenadier build classes so i roam around scrounging for ammo and nades as I clear the map.

I am surprised the OP isn't running around declaring the sky is falling about it. Hell knows he has about every other new addition the DLC bought.

People b**ch about the Krysae and Reegar, but the harrier is damn near broken with how I can mow down Atlases and Primes in two clips.
Not on gold you can't. Kind of tired of seeing people judge a weapon based on other difficulties. I have it and you aren't downing boss enemies with 2 clips, sorry.

The Harrier isn't broken. Not enough ammo.

All of the new weapons have ammo issues, if you can even call them issues... ammo boxes are plentiful
The Kyrsae has no ammo issues at all, neither does the Reeger due to how fast it kills and how much you are moving around with it. The Harrier burns through ammo on gold and loses a lot of its killing power. It's the one out of the three with ammo issues.

Much harder than pistols do (well, that's a real life thing, not a game balance thing.)
Either way, it fits well to my "cannot always get the damn reticle dead on the bugger's head in a split second" ways.
It fires nice tight 2-3 round bursts with a single pull. It is very accurate, and does nice damage.

Of course claymore kills faster and does not have as much of ammo problem. Yours is propably on level 10, that explains alot. You cant really compare a low level weapon with a high level weapon. Especially those two, since the harrier is an ultra-rare and the claymore is a rare.
Just wait and see when it gets to at least lvl IV-V.
