I would totally support this. Kal was an awesome character that was taken out in a horrible way and femshep does need some better romance options. Maybe it could be in the Romance DLC we had been hearing about. Lets get some Quarian love for the ladies.

@Zappho, Nah no arguing here lol, just skimming past his or her posts, since there's never anything worth while in them.

Back on topic, a DLC that would save Kal'Reegar would be great, getting a mission / assignment, that a group on Palavan is trapped behind enemy lines and with the shuttles stealth systems, Shepard's team is the only group that stands a chance to get them out, among the group is Kal'Reegar.

Rescuing him will cause him to believe he owes you a debt and comes along with you, if you femshep, you can take it from there to become more then friends.

I don't know what to make of Vega.

He claims broShep is better looking than someone (can't recall who) yet he claims femShep is better looking in a different situation (still can't recall who but I do recall it's for something else). He rejects any idea of checking to see if broShep's bed is hard when there didn't seem to be any intent of Shepard offering -- that idea was all Vega's. He nervously and very clumsily rejects femShep's advances in a couple of occasions.

(Being friends with Cortez doesn't mean anything.)

Kal to the rescue! I don't care about any romance options with Kal, but I just thought it might be interesting where Shep's doing a mission on Palaven and Kal comes to the rescue (and, then, doesn't die in an ANN email article).

Could be Grunt he's talking about. Don't know if the dialogue for male Shepard is the same, but I just did the Rachni mission and Vega called my female Shepard better looking than our favorite tank-bred Krogan, so...

As for the Kal'Reegar DLC... I like him, but I think the idea of him being a LI seems a little bit silly. Maybe there's some subtext if you dig deep enough, but otherwise there's nothing between him and Shepard. It would be too far-fetched, I think. In the most ideal situation it would be someone from the Normandy, like Vega or maybe even Joker.

But you know what? I think BioWare just screwed up with Thane and Jacob. It could've been so easy. Only let Thane die if he isn't romanced and only let Jacob hook up with that Cole person if he isn't romanced. If they both are romanced (seperately from each other, of course) they survive/remain committed to you and you could then invite them on the Normandy for some much needed quality time together. Just like they thid with Liara in LotSB, more or less. Afterwards, Thane can then go back to the hospital (because he's still sick, albeit in relatively good condition) and Jacob can then go help build the Crucible. Then, before you lay siege to Cronos Station, you can initiate one last date, one last night together. The result would be two full-fledged (and hopefully satisfying) romance arcs for a straight female Shepard. Sadly, BioWare thought otherwise and wasted to perfectly fine romance options.

Silly in the sense that his mance would start in ME3? Like Steves and Sams? Least Kal would of met and spent time with Shepard in ME2, aka saving his life. Theres more back depth with Kal.

If a Kal DLC (like part of a mission pack DLC) allows him to survive Palaven, I think Tali should go for him instead of Garrus if there are no other romances for either of them. He obviously liked her, and she thought he was sweet. At least, that's the impression I got at Tali's trial in ME2.
