So I just got this game as you can see just bought it yesterday. So I try to look for some DLC. I heard there is about 6-7 seperate ones. Then I am greeted with this message. I need to pay 1200 points to for an access card to go online to look at their DLC?

Well, we're mostly just your fellow gamers here so we can't see when you bought it. But taking your word for it the question is did you buy it new or did you buy it used? If it's used then yeah, that sucks and it's basically the game industry trying to put people off buying second hand games. But if it's new then no, you don't need to pay 1200 points. Just click the top option in that screen shot use the redemption code for the Cerberus network. Where you'll find that code depends on how you bought the game, i.e. on disc, download via Steam, download via Origin, etc.

If you bought the game new then the Cerberus Network code should be in the box. If you didn't buy it new then the Cerberus Network is Biowares way of making more money of the secondary market. The only way around this I can think of is buying the Bioware ID of whoever you bought the game from so you can log on as them.
