I am very imaginative so I named my first dog Fido and the second Killer. The next time I play I think I'll name him somthing more original like Roadkill comes to mind.

Rambo, after my cat. Who when he was little was hit by our 1940's army jeep. Both have the same temperament: used to bring dead animals to me as a gift, once a fruitbat, another time a black/brown crossbread snake which if you live/d in Australia, you know to avoid. Also beat up three or for dogs once.
Puppykins, just for the sake of a cute and horrible name. My girlfriend wanted this one to be named Cthulu. My other ones are usually Celtic inspired

My names weren't really imaginative, I guess. I named my first Inu.
The other names I chose were Prothvar and Cerberus.

I changed his name for each playthrough.
Dalish - Sobaka (Russian for "dog")
Mage - Benjamin (subtle joke/reference to a certain musical)
Human noble - Sétanta (dog-related figure in Celtic mythology)
City Elf - Stumpswish (in reference to his stubby tail)
Dwarf commoner - Reptaur (I dunno why; running out of ideas, I guess)
