Hopefully bioware adds the ability to slap the christ**** out of Ash, I've been waiting 3 games for it.

One of those types eh?

You mean somebody with an education?

There's nothing wrong with having religious beliefs, people like you are just as intolerant as any religious fanatic. I dont believe in religion myself, and im 50/50 on the existence of god, and I dont feel the need to talk down to people with beliefs as if I am somehow superior to them. If you want to be an athiest then thats great, but that doesnt mean you have the right to act like a smug, condescending, arrogant cretin.

So you don't like talking down to people with beliefs yet you just called me a smug, condescending, arrogant cretin.
Practice what you preach.

The difference is that you are acting like a moronic troll, if you think thats acceptable then you have some serious growing up to do.

I'm glad you are supporting the WiiU, but don't expect this to do well. Almost everyone who was interested in Mass Effect has already purchased the series, and since ME1 and 2 aren't going to be available on the WiiU, they won't have that to look forward to. What would be a good deal? Release it for full retail price, but include the PS3 version of ME2 as well. Since it uses the same engine as ME3, that should be pretty easy. Wish I could say it'd be easy to include ME1, but it wouldn't. ME2 and ME3 together for $60 would be a good way to bring more people in. Will EA or BioWare ever do it? No.

Well I am not that excited for ME3 on the WiiU just the prospect that Mass Effect characters could be in a Super Smash game since they have gone Nintendo.

Sweet, now i can get my friend this when he nabs his Wii U this holiday! He always sees me playing Mass Effect 3, but does not really care about getting caught up. I provided him brief backstory as to what has happened. If they are that anxious nothing is stopping them from going back and nabbing a copy for a previous console.
I know someone that played ME3 without even knowing what Mass Effect was and they seemed to enjoy it far more than a dedicated fan.

No problem, I asked for Demon Souls on the 360 when we gave them ME2, and we got Dark Souls (didn't play it lol).

Give us Monster Hunter on the 360, and while you're at it choke Lucas Arts into making a new Rogue Squadron (or revamp 1 and 2) with Online play for us as well.

By the maker, I would give anything for a new Rogue Squadron, with online, on Wii U.

Well I guess that is one positive aspect to look forward to seeing both versions of commander shepard for smash brothers or playstation all stars either way would be cool

Just don't see how this will work without at least mass effect 2 and its dlc to go along with me3

Why not include ME2? By only including ME3, you prevent WI U owners from falling in love with the TRILOGY. At least ME2's comic made up for not playing ME1 somewhat, but with ONLY ME3, WII U fans will miss out.

Nintendo is just buying its time before it's forced to pull a Sega. It's the only tactic it can do, release their system first, building up their core before the other two release their consoles.

One poster commented how the Wii U will have full 1080p support while the 360 doesn't. Good! Though you can't compare a new system to an older one. Would be more accurate to ask why they didn't bother giving it true HD on teh Wii when the other two systems had it all along.

Nintendo has only ever done games and video game systems. Sony and microsoft have the financial backing and experience in so many other things that if they really wanted to blow Nintendo out of the water they could. Nintendo is just set on sinking slowly. It's is almost embarassing when they release their profits how they generally combine all hardware sales (system, controllers, etc.) in as one when comparing themselves to Microsoft who breaks it down as Consoles and Accessories.

Won't hurt Bioware any for making the move. Heck considering ME1 was a microsoft title... nintendo no doubt had to pay rights for that port. But Nintendo isn't a manufacturer to take seriously anymore. Just a company that cranks out short lived fads that fizzle.

As much as I dislike some of Nintendos decisions as of late, weither you like it or not they won't be going anywhere for a very long time. It's been proven and stated time and again that they have more money in the bank than both Microsoft and Sonys game divisions put together. They have over $10.5 billion US in the bank, and can take a loss financially of $257 million each year till 2052 and still be in the black. They also have $6 billion in investments, property, resources etc.

They are no where near where poor old Sega was at, Sega was in the red and was losing money fast due to their multiple bad selling systems. Nintendo has managed to sell plenty of its current systems even if the Wii is falling in sales now it's still ahead of the others in sales this generation and made them a mint. The DS is still the best selling handheld overall for its generation too.

Sadly businesses dont quite work how you imagine with the other big two companies either. Microsoft and Sony have seperate gaming divisions which have to keep themselves afloat. The company as a whole would not pay to rescue a failing division. No matter how wealthy. Their gaming divisions debt is its own to sort out. Bigger companies gaming divisions can be taken down just as easy as the ones who just deal in games.

I for one am glad they aren't going anywhere, god forbid both the grandparents of mainstream gaming dissapear. Was bad enough when Sega went and took its awesome Dreamcast with it. Nintendo said time and again it would bow out and take its games with it if worse came to worse, and I'd hate to see Mario and Zelda, Metroid and Donkey Kong etc vanish. The oversaturation of FPS and action games is bad enough without loosing more platformers and classic RPGs...

ME3 on wii U will ahve the same graphics as xbox version, it's not a port, it's built for the wii u, just how they did a verison for Batman for Wii u. Man folks are having real issues with Nintendo finally havign graphical power that can equal or out do ps and xbox.

Will it have the same RED, BLUE, AND GREEN endings? Stupid Bioware team, Thats what happens when you ask Sesame Street writers to come up with the endings.

Also I didnt place Udina in charge on the counsel why is he there. You need a patch to fix that, instead of a WiiU version.

Well the sad thing that nintendo did get called out on with some of their initial reveal of the Wii U was the graphics they showed off as a demo. They were 360 adn PS3 graphics, which they later admitted to having used, following it up with "But the system will have equally satisfying graphics to the PS3 and 360 if not better." To which someone else sarcastically added that they essentially just said their newest next gen system was aiming to match or barely beat systems that have been out for almost more than 7 years now. It just seemed sad that they didn't really have a response back to that.

Granted, the Wii U might be great and all. i try to be very open minded and at least give all systems an open chance to impress and try to find titles across all platforms to compare play to. Each certainly has their perks, though I find Microsoft's current product game wise performs better overall. Sony... is kind of like a child with ADD, they get great ideas and concepts, but before they finish the first idea they're off doing something else.

And Nintendo... clearly they dominate the hand held market. Good for them! Sony still hasn't quite figured that out. I've just never really found many of their titles of late being anything I can't live without or dont feel like they come up lacking. Like Zelda for example. Great game... but I've never really found beating it as satisfying as I always find myself hoping.

Personally I don't know why games need to be exclusive to any one console. Financially it opens manufacturers to a broader spectrum and fanbase to release across all platforms.

Personally I would love to see a combined trilogy release or an me1 "anniversary" edition on any console. Being a fan of all 3 consoles I keep an open mind and I looking forward to the wii U mass effect3.

That is explained. Anderson stepped down to have a more active role in military affairs in preparation for the Reaper invasion as well as to to Shepard from going to prison or be executed for war crimes. As such he abjucated in favor for Udina as Human Counciler of the Citadel.

More on topic, props for Nintendo for getting the Mass Effect series on there list of third party games. It is a same that WiiU games don't get ME2+DLC

I plan to get a wiiU and even moreso now me3 is headed for it. As some have said in the past though, a redesigned collectors version would be greatly appreciated for those people like me who buy the game for pc, 360 and ps3. Perhaps with some different unique DLC, some bonus making of vids, a figure, paragon or renegade patch, that type of thing...and a new t-shirt design?

It makes sense if Bioware want release ME3 on the Wii U just for the cash, because  I just saw this image recently
