All 3 mass effect games in 1 package with all DLC content would be the best thing bioware could do and what they should have done for the ps3 also. From a collectors and fan view that would be a must have and that alone would get more sales for them and the Wi U console. Think of it like almost like what they do with game of the year edition games. Difference is though you would have all 3 in 1 with all DLC content now that would be awesome. I'm sure it can be done one big package with multiple discs and some collectors items included maybe even a nice case.
It won't happen, for several reasons:
1) Microsoft co-owns the publishing rights to the first game. Unless something is worked out between Microsoft and EA, ME1 will never be re-released.
2) EA has never released a GOTY edition of any recent Bioware game. Hell, there were plans to make a Dragon Age II GOTY edition that were scrapped because of lack of consumer interest. The closest thing ME1 got to a GOTY release was the Steam version, which is still missing Pinnacle Station. The PS3 version of the second game (which was a glorified port and promo for 3 more than anything) was missing the last four DLC's and bonus content.
3) As I mentioned before, EA won't release any additional CE's for a game that has no value to them. We know that ME3 sold a million units less than ME2 - the Wii version is a glorified cash-grab for the system. Sure, it will likely sell well because it's a launch title, but they're not going to pool additional resources for a port of the game.

Well...it's not as if the third game
acknowledges any of your past decisions anyway. I don't see why starting
at part 3 is an issue.
I'll say the same thing I've mentioned before. Porting the game to a different system
without giving you the chance to make decisions a la
Genesis is a terrible idea. Several characters are dead by default (meaning you can't access their additional content/have them as war assets), and it's actually impossible to broker peace between the Geth and Quarians due to Legion being dead by default.
Besides, starting at the third part of a trilogy is a terrible decision, because the narrative assumes you already have familiarity with the previous games. The way the story is presented, a new player will be incredibly confused about who is who and what's going on.
