The fact that Wii U owners won't be getting the Trilogy is bad, but to not even guarantee they will even get DLC is really unreal. Wii U owners shouldn't give them one cent, because obviously EA/Bioware doesn't care about whether they get a good product or not.

And saying "maybe" is not the same as its coming, but at a later date. The way the Twitter responses are setup makes me think they're not coming at all. What harm could they possibly do by saying the content is coming?

Just pointing out that some form of download was going to be available on day one by a third party.

Third party has nothing to say here. Nintendo simply won't allow any DLCs for any game available at launch, DLC service lunches later. Patches are different thing.EDarkness wrote...

Here's the thing, why not tell people they're getting the complete package? Saying Wii U owners will get it later is different than being vague about whether or not they'll get it at all. Considering that even Mario Bros. U will have DLC means the infrastructure is in place. There is no reason not to give potential buyers confidence that they will receive the same game as everyone else. Bioware can't even do that where as other companies can.
Don't get me wrong, I have worked in the game business before and I understand that they don't want to announce the trilogy for the Wii U just yet (not saying it's coming). However, the port is definitely not filling a lot of people with confidence.

People should really forget about ME3 on Wii U. I was so hoping forthe trilogy for it. I just read first review of the game & it's just horible. The game is rushed by people that have so far only mad 1 game, on ios. FPS is horrible, there's lag (...)
The gameplay with gamepad is an awsome idea, but all the rest is badly made. My dream of a ME trilogy on Wii U with the new gameplay as just vanished, because obviously, no one is gonna paid 60€/$ for this horribile version, same price as for the trilogy everywhere else.
Thx EA to not caring for Nintendo's audiance.
(& sorry for the english)

Yes, it has flaws, but you can have it in other platforms! Amazing, I know. Can't believe you could not figure that out. Not that smart I guess.

The issue here is that our fellow gamers who are considering this version should be warned and we, as gamers, should let Bioware know that what they're doing with Mass Effect on the Wii U is not acceptable. I've already told my friends and family not to buy the Wii U version of the game, but what Bioware is doing here isn't good at all and they should be called out for it. As gamers we shouldn't put up with this kind of stuff regardless of what system it's on.

And unfortunately, instead of providing quick overviews of these individual loyalty missions, Genesis sums up the entire experience in one minute, asking players "do you want to help your team?" What fool would say "no?"
Man, that sounds rather underwhelming.

I agree, as a PS3 user I know what missing out on ME1 felt like, but for Wii U users to miss out on both ME1 & ME2 and get a Genesis comic that barely covers the events of ME2 is even worse. Starting a trilogy at the end and missing out on more than half of the series isn't really a great idea either...

Bioware/EA are an utter disgrace, as video game developers they should be ashamed of themselves. If they don;t want to support Nintendo then they shouldn't have bothered, all this does is make them look bad. ME 3 "Special" Edition is beyond lazy, I literally have no words for how disgusting this is.
The Comic for ME2 took about 20 minutes which honestly is a bit tedious if you want to play the game.
Getting all the individual choices in that kind of presentation for ME3 could come up to an hour with all thecontext you would need.
It makes sense to streamline things to get into the game, but honestly things like these should be experienced in ME1 and ME2 rather than having these brief comics.
I do hope ME1 and ME2 get releasees in some form on Wii U so those have not yet experienced Mass Effect in it's entirety can get the chance to do so.
