Even with an interactive comic, which can't substitute for the feelings you get from playing the previous games. Like for me Garrus feels like a brother to me/my shep with all that they have been through together.
Same thing with Tali,Liara,Wrex,Mordin,Thane,Grunt,Joker,Dr. Chackwas,Anderson,Kasumi,Zaeed. I know I left out a few people (purposely). They wouldn't understand certain things that carry over from the other games that would never be mentioned in an interactive comic, like Punching Kalisa.
or the guy the can never get a refund, until ME3.
Thats something that the interactive comic can't give you in my opinion.

nintendo players will not be drawn into the story or the characters, because for not being able to at start from ME1, I don't know how people that started from ME2 feel so I apologize if that statement annoys you.

Mind blown. I totally hadn't connected the dots until now. That's the guy from ME1. I've heard his conversation with that Turian at least 30 times!
I always assumed the Turian was being racist.

This is an incorrect assumption.
You're assuming that someone who is buying a Wii U and is interested in ME3 has never played Mass Effect on any other platform before it. Before I got ME2 on the PS3, I already played Mass Effect 1. So that attachment to the story and characters was there for me.
Not everyone who will buy the Wii U version of the game will be a virgin to the Mass Effect lore.
With that said...I don't know why they don't just put both ME2 and ME3 to the Wii U seeing as EA owns the publishing rights to both.

That is probably what they should do. Releasing the final game of the trilogy on a new system I would just find risky.

Does this mean that the MP operations will get harder, now that all 4 platforms are catered for?

I started ME serie with ME3 & then played ME1 & 2 then 3 again & really I should have done that before.
The story is so much more interesting with ME1 & ME2 background.
Really, Bioware should release ME1 & 2 with ME3 on Wii U (and why not remake ME with ME3 engin, both using unreal engin, should'nt be that hard or asking a lot of efforts... and also add removed gay romance from ME1 so it make more sens in ME3). I would love to see also the hub on the gamepad so we don't have to pause the game.
Well ME3 on Wii U, big yes for me, but only if the whole serie is coming for it. Other wise, i'll stick to my PC version ^^
And please, excuse my english ^^;

Is it going to have fully featured MP? That would bode well for Nintendo's on-line efforts.
And I too am curious if it's really only the last game that's going to be on the Wii U.

Hopefully that means that Xbox players will also get smartglass support. I was just thinking during the presentation how cool that could be in ME3, but it would only happen if there was a WIIU port.
I don't think SmartGlass is gonna take off. The same way that Kinect hasn't took off. MicroSoft don't seem to be very good at using their gimmicks.
Kinect sold a lot, yes, but I don't believe anyone uses it. The general consensus is that every Kinect game is useless. At least the Wii and the PsMove had some good games.
I guess I am pretty interested to see how they use the gamepad with the Wii U. It'd be great if they had some sort of Cerberus News Network that updates every now and then in the campaign.

That would be a cool option, and they might be able to patch it in, like the Kinect support that Skyrim and Minecraft did.
Could have the radar and command options on it. But, would there be a delay?

I've heard rumours it's popularity has been given a boost thanks to Skyrims latest update.
Even so, ME3 was one game that just shouldn't have had it.

I don't usually tamper with people's post out of respect, but it was me who said that. I changed it to my username. :innocent:
Anyway, I'm always optimistic about new "hardware". Kinect just didn't have creative devs do anything with it. In ME3, it's there, you can use voice command, but would you buy a Kinect for that?
Is it even more fun to use the Kinect in that situation, which is what it comes down to?
I'm afraid I don't even know what it does in Skyrim. I play Bethesda games at launch then I get the GOTY. I don't really listen to them inbetween. Is it just voice commands again, that's what a quick google search seemed to indicate?

Great place to start new players. If they only ever play the ending game, they won't ever need to complain!

Those that haven't played ME3 yet likely haven't played the first two games either. (after all, why play throught the first two games and get invested in them and not play the concluding game?) It does them a great disservice by missing out on all the content present in those games, especially the second.
With that said, if the WiiU version came with "remastered" editions of the first two games, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Hell, I'd pay extra.

I can see this being the end of the respected bioware to many new avinews to fast and to much failure, This land slide of bad ideas need's to stop.
How is a port ever a bad idea? So long as the sales end up strong enough to warrant the cost of development, put your name and franchise in front of more people!

You're a bit too late. No one is going buy ME3 Wii U version with the ending that still sucks. We want Shepherd alive, not dead and became a myth like Santa Clause! >:-[Chris Priestly wrote...
