Ultimate Builds Of Bewilderment

In that spirit, please feel free to post your most off-the-wall builds here, and how they worked out. I'll kick things off with the build I really enjoyed going into Shieldwall:
Cloak-Cloak-Boom-Boom
Human Female Infiltrator
Tactical Cloak: 1, 2, 3, 4 - Damage, 5 - Recharge Speed (focus is on grenade, and not using sniper rifle, so I skipped 6)
Cryo Blast: 1, 2, 3 (in case you run out of grenades/ammo)
Sticky Grenade: 1, 2, 3, 4 - Damage, 5 - Armor Piercing, 6 - Proximity Trap
Alliance Training: 1, 2, 3, 4 - Weapon Damage, 5 - Power Damage, 6 - Weapon Damage
Fitness: 1, 2, 3, 4 - Durability, 5 - Shield Recharge, 6 - Fitness Expert
Weapon: Scorpion, Scope, Barrel
Equipment: Pistol Amp
I had a lot of fun with this build. Missions tended to sound like a fireworks display, with Scorpion rounds and grenades continuously booming. It was most successful for me in the more claustrophobic maps, such as Glacier, Reactor and Ghost.

The ability to create lopsided or "one trick pony" builds is one of my favorite elements of the game.

No need to fill out the complete loadout like I did - a general description would be fine.

basically Asari Vanguard that goes 60666 or 63656
taking advantage of her AOE heavy melee which buffed by fitness is stronger than nova and also boosts Power damage when you kill with it to boost the damage of lift grenades to over 2k make her a very nice CANNON
if you take the 3 points on stasis you can also self BioBomb with Charge which can be a very nice trick when followed up by her Heavy Melee and some Lift Grenades.
if you want to take this to gold pop on a good gun and stick to cover and use stasis to open your Biotic Explosions so you stun then when you charge in for easy heavy Melee and Lift Grenade Doom. you can take out a big crowd doing this if you are careful and aware of your enemys and allies.

I do enjoy the stasis-charge-be combo. What's your preferred gun with this?

on Gold i prefer the GPS tho since its effective at all ranges and mine is lvl X
her heavy melee really will do more than 2-3x damage than a Nova can. its just more likley to get you killed unless you put some points into stasis for Biobombs..
the combined effect of Charge + Heavy Melee on her..... is like a extra 50% Power Damage.. and Lift Grenades are so wonderful already before that...
on gold you wont be doing as much charging. a single Versitle Gun is the best option. so Harrier if you have it works and is not much heavyer than a GPS or if you like me and not that lucky yet stick with the GPS.
can also use the Reegar since that works VERY well with charge but i suggest leaving that for Kroguards since they can stick close to enemys longer. Claymore is too heavy. even at lvl X its as heavy as a GPS I. the Grall is a good option if you can effectivly use it too tho. it naturally ignores Armor Peneltys and can be charged for double damage and used at longer ranges just like the GPS.
i suggest Ammo or AP + Melee Mods for shotguns if you taking it into gold.
if you take the non stasis route stick with pistols. the Talon with AP or Scope or melee. The Carniflex with the same. the Paladin is another choice if its high enough.
the scorpian can be a very intresting choice as you can mine a Area before charging it helping keep enemys stun.. again only if you have it tho.

Awesomeness. I just picture this little jiggly quarian running around Tuchanka trying to be Krogan.

Fitness Training 6 (Durability-Shield-Fitness)
One damn silly, but fun, build. In a public match, you'll probably get booted by some morons who think you don't know what you are doing. And you certainly don't build this for points.
But if you get a match with some friends, some people who like to have fun, some people who like when they score the points and you don't, some actually knowledgeablye people, or a combination of any of the above, you'll be in good shape.
Get as close to 200% recharge as you can and you want to spam....sorry, that should be in all-caps, SPAM CRYO BLAST. Everything on the screen should be an ice statue, waiting to be shattered by your comrades like children throwing plates in a restaurant. You aren't doing the killing, except for every so often. But you sure as Hell are making sure stuff is getting killed.
It has worked out pretty decently. Except when people really can't, for some reason, figure out what you are doing. Which is a shame, because when you play this character, it is about the most selfless thing you can do.

The Real Quaid
Salarian Engineer
Energy Drain - 1, 2, 3 (seems the least in keeping with the actual real Quaid; if you have and don't mind burning a respec card, you could skip this and do 6 Incinerate, instead)
Decoy - 1, 2, 3, 4 - Durability, 5 - Shock, 6 - Exploding Decoy (yes I know Quaid's decoy didn't actually do any such thing, but I'm sure he would have loved it if it could)
Incinerate - 1, 2, 3, 4 - Damage, 5 - Burning Damage (Again, Quaid didn't have this ability, but it would fit the character, I think. If you opt to respec out of ED, I would probably go with Armor Damage for 6)
Salarian Operative - 1, 2, 3, 4 - Damage & Capacity, Power Damage, Weapon Damage
Fitness - 1, 2, 3, 4 - Durability, 5 - Shield Recharge, 6 - Fitness Expert
For weapons, your Assault Rifle of choice. Avenger or Vindicator seem like the most similar to the guns used in the movie. I'd probably throw on Barrel and Stability.

I have this exact same build myself, it's so much fun. That said, the ice maiden, for she is my Human Female, does like to carry a claymore. She likes it down and dirty, on occasion.

I ran something similar as the human male counterpart to Cloak-Cloak-Boom-Boom. With the addition of GPSMG with Cryo Ammo:D

Splosion Batarian soldier:
6/3/6/5/6
Damage/range/explosion on blades
Max damage/no. grenades with Infernos + armour
Scorpion + Warfighter mod for an extra grenade gives you 5 grenades at a time plus huge booms from scorpion.
Prox GI:
The classic GI specced for prox mine with raduis/20% more damage/Damage, hunter mode maximizing cooldown and damage for powers. Passive tree all power damage. Fun especially on bronze, kill entire spawns with 1 prox mine.
The Barrier Kroguard:
Just maximize barriers power and get biotic charge to 100% shield restore for an easy escape button.
Barrier can 1 hit all mobs on Bronze, take a assault rifle for shielded enemies.
Shame most fun builds are only viable in bronze/silver unless you have a team backing them up

I confess, I almost never remember to use Tech Armor/Barrier/etc. as damagers, even when I'm surrounded by husks as their Marauder comrades are gunning me down.

Human infiltrator
Claymore with melee blade (or talon with stunner... Any pistol or shotty really)
Cloak - damage, melee, power
Sticky - 0
cryo - all bottom ones for Debuffs
AT - weapon damage or weight, prob damage
Fitness - straight melee bonus
Enjoy 1 shotting most things on gold. Just ALWAYS cryo first (get the stun) and then melee. Shoot your gun after if it's a hunter... Yes I melee phantoms lol

Not a build for points?! Isn't doing the killing?!
This is how I've been playing my Ice Ninja the past couple weeks:
Tactical Cloak 6 (Damage - either* - Bonus Power)
Cryo Blast 6 (Radius - More Damage - More Damage)
Sticky Grenade 0
Alliance Training 6 (Capacity - Power Damage - Weapon Damage)
Fitness Training 6 (either* - Shield Recharge - either*)
Hurricane II with expanded capacity and damage.
This Ice Queen is powerful. Like you said, everything should be a frozen statue but with this they're also all debuffed to take more damage. Typically I Cloak, Cryo Blast to freeze and debuff a cluster near my allies, while Cloaked run to a different cluster, Cryo Blast to freeze and debuff while unleashing a hail of bullets. Everything's dead, rinse and repeat. Cryo Blast has around a 2 second cooldown, so with just cloak's default duration, I still have plenty of time to freeze one group, find another and freeze. The Hurricane does insane damage point blank with Cloak's damage buff plus Cryo Blast's enemy debuff; takes out gold Ravagers in one clip if you add a SMG rail and AP rounds.
*i've run both melee damage on these and health/shields. shattering fools with cloaked heavy melee's was fun to change things up from the smg fire once in a while, and the health/shields variant is obviously slightly more durable. cloak's rank 5 rechange isn't really needed since i always decloak via cryo, cooldown is always and already low.
If running with biotic combo allies, stick to different clusters of enemies so Cryo Blast doesn't interfere with teammate's biotic detonation set-ups.
I will say that often idiots try to kick an human Infiltrator entering a gold room with just a Hurricane equiped. I don't know if they're just too stupid to realize how great this gun is or what. It certainly is satisfying when I get one or two kick votes in the lobby, as happened again last night, but we start the gold match anyway and I proceed to lead the entire match.

this isnt much of a build as much as it is being as powerful as most enemys on gold. by giving you over 5k total Health Shields
here is the trick.. put on Shield Modulator III which DOUBLES your shields
you now have 2000 base shields.
3200 with Fitness
do this on Kroguard and you can refill those shields with charge.
stick on it on Krogan Sentinal and you can get 80% damage Reduction total in addition
stick on a reegar and take as many weight reductions as possible and you can basically attack anything you want without ever Dying.
if they ever fix rage on kroguard this build + Defense on Barrier would be UNSTOPPABLE
you can get another 30% shields if you have a maxed shield booster in gear.

its taking a Falcon X and maxing Cuncussive shot for Radius, Recharge, DOT and taking allience training for Maxing Capacity + Power Damage + Weight Reduction.
Adreneline rush is set up like a Emergency Shield Restore/buff
Frag Grenades take the entire top row
the result of Spamming Falcon Rounds with Concussive shot is alot of stunlocked enemys.
it reduces even PHANTOMS to stumbling weaklings
not the best damage but its CrowdControl ability is unmatched. you can solo bronze easly with this build.
its one of my Favs^^

- immortal glass cannon
Reave with area reave and all damage reduction bonus
defensive bubble with all reduction bonus
pull spected for cooldown, area pull, and bio-explo damage
justicar(5) - weight reduce power damage
Health (3)
Gun - avenger X
gear - I only have shields + 10%
If you stay in your bubble and keep something reaved, you keep an 80% damage reduction.
Downside--Fall outside your bubble and you may as well start mashing the ‘A’ button (xbox)
OP?? Maybe, but W/G/G is a walk in the park with this build.
i know.....inB4
