LOTS MORE SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE!

Can't help ROFLMAO, too.

Yeah, another step towards making ME3 a coop Multiplayer shooter, with diluted characters, erasing all epicness Commander Shepard conquered.

It's clear that MP became the focus. Wonder how the point-selling system will work on the Wii U.

EA should bundle ME3 with DA2 for the ultimate "Welcome to current gen" welcoming package for Nintendo fans.

Its not a new game. Just a port. Will you really buy ME3 a second time?

Well, I assumed this one's different as I saw a girl playing with a toy plane in the trailer? If it's the same game, then no, I won't buy it again.

That's the Take Earth Back trailer, which has been around for quite some time. General ME3 advertising, nothing more.

Wii owners often have a second gaming system so I'm quite sure many of them have already been introduced to the current gen. I bought a Wii a couple of years back but I also have a gaming PC that blows any console out of the water. Why do I have a Wii? I'm a Mario fan.

It wont matter who would want to start the trilogy with the LAST game

What's so strange about it? It's not like previous games mattered in the end.

Well, I just got another reason to not buy a Wii U. I mean, can you imagine the graphics? How is this even going to work? At least we know that Shepard's "choices" in the first two games are irrelevant, so they don't have to bother with any sort of Genesis comic-like thing for Wii. Just pick from the presets.

So anyone who purchased a WiiU and didn't play ME1 or 2 does what exactly?

Eh...broken strategy

Plays the exact same game as people who made a unique series of "choices" in the first two games. As someone who played ME3 with very different savegames, I can say that Wii U users will have the exact same experience I had, because in my playthroughs I had the exact same experience regardless of my Shepard's "choices". I have to put the word in quotes, because it doesn't feel right to call those actions choices.

Well, even though I could care less about the Wii-U version it would be a good opportunity for them to produce a Shep trial DLC to have the same function as the Genesis DLC, except using the actual game engine instead of low quality Dark Horse panels. Shep did have a tribunal before being relieved of duty and detained, confirmed in-game by Diana Allers so it would be a great thing to use. The benefits would be to recap import players for the other systems, but also as a character builder for new ones on not only the Wii-U but also the other systems, to properly introduce the characters, the story, the setting, and the looming threat and Shep's views on said threat. Shep's trial DLC would be a great dramatic way to introduce the game BEFORE the Reaper invasion kicks in if done properly. Here is a poll on the subject if you guys are interested. I know I am.

I wonder because the game is rated M and the Wii-U console is aimed towards family, like the Wii. I know, there are a few M games for the Wii too, but you can count them with your fingers at most, so I wonder if the Wii-U version will be a "toned down" version (removing the romance, blood and "gory" stuff) to actually reach a broader "family" audience or just a full port.

Not gonna lie, and no offense btw, but this sounds dumb.

Why?

I mean...look at the audience the original Wii and the Wii-U is targeted: little kids (less than 13 years old), wives, grandpas and grandmas, and people that are not much into videogames. How would you sell a game like Mass Effect to those people? The game has gore, violence, sexual scenes (or implies them), moral decisions, tough choices.... in short, nothing you want your 10 years old kid messing around with.

This isn't the 90's anymore, games aren't censored across seperate plaforms. I'm sure the mature themes Mass Effect 3 players enjoy now will be intact on the Wii U.

LOL Honestly I thought this was a joke~ Anyway....I guess it's good for the Wii-U but it sucks that these players like said above will not have anything to import to the game. Seriously the juice of Mass Effect is playing all 3 games~

Don't mention that around Bioware, remember - best place to start is the third one, no need to play the others, you'll have the same experience!   Bahaha.

Good for you Wii-U fans though, but I don't really see this game selling too well on that platform, Mario/Zelda/Nintendo icons usually do better than crossovers.

Maybe if Mass Effect 3 sees a resurgence of sales on Wii U then EA/BioWare may think of porting ME2 to the system.

I definitely see them doing some sort of trial or hearing to allow Wii-U users to shape their stories. Because the default  non-import choices really do suck. Having a prologue like Genesis just makes sense to me.

On a side note: I see alot off users posts disappearing on this thread because of negativity.

Yet in many other threads users personally attack eachother( wich is a code of conduct violation) and their posts remain for all the world to see. That's interesting. Image IPB

I Guess they need to milk the franchise for all its worth and nintendo fans were a previously untapped target.

Can I ask whats the point of giving the nintendo fans the last piece of the trilogy? You gonna do another comic that sums up what you could do in ME1 and 2? Is this why ME3's ending kinda disregards the lore in the previous games?

Well I guess it doesnt really matter if they start from the last part since most of those previous choices dont matter anyways.

Like Wii U even needs ME3 to actually sell well.

I agree, most people won't pick up a Wii U for that anyway.
