It's hurting me when every single match I join is Firebase White with Geth, and I can only seem to play other things when I gather friends. It's killing matchmaking and making me wait 15-20min before I get to play anything substantial.

It is rather sad that I've played about six games today, each of which was Firebase White with Geth or Cerberus. Oh well at least they mixed up who I kill a bit. I also lack the patience to host my own game and wait ages for anyone to join, although that's my own fault.

so basically if you don't like it pick any level as your set level and you won't have to worry about doing FBW

also doing a silver on unknown unknown nets you almost as much XP as a gold

I love me some farming. don't have time to play 5 bronze matches to = 1 Gold matches payout and I'm not good enough to play gold straight up.

I farm and I love it.

You could always try searching for Cerberus/Gold or Reaper/Gold. Cerberus is especially easy to find as the second most common (first obviously being FBWG) Gold games I find are Unknown/Cerberus. It may take longer but with the N7 matchmaking gone, it shouldn't take more than 2 minutes.

Reaper games though, that might be hard to find. I can't even remember the last time I ever saw someone actually select Reapers. I've only gotten them when the host sets Unknown/Unknown.

I couldn't care less.

But there's one thing. For any good Gold player typical noob FBWGG match isn't farming — it's a torture. It takes quite a lot of time and it's usually boring if you just camp. I bet any decent Gold player would choose to farm FBWCGEDIT: Glacier in at least under 15 minutes (probably less since there's no need to extract) — now that's farming.

Im guessing the mentality is. "I cant have someone ive never met that i will never play outdoing me." They play for "fun" but know deep down they want that shiny black card. They are overrated it you ask me.

Map lands on FBW? Leave the damn game. Matchmaking is only a nightmare if you play the game all damn day. I've found plenty of Gold games on Dagger, Glacier, Goddess, etc.

Oh yes it's hurting me! Most of them are Bronze level players who don't care enough to take the 2 minutes and watch a youtube vid on how FBWGG works. You know the type. Idiot teammate dies across the map, captain Saveaho goes charging across the map and gets killed trying to be a hero. And being the conformist culture we are, another idiot goes charging into the fray only to get killed. Fast forward, they wipe.

I wouldn't say butt-hurt, but it does suck when you try and find a random game and end up there every time. It seems like that's all some people do in gold. I don't care if that's all you do in MP. I personally prefer variety as opposed to sitting behind a counter pushing a button Jorge Jetson style. Whatever floats your boat I guess. I just have a hard time finding a good game whether I try for a random or create my own game because it seems that most people like to just farm. Anyway... farm away!

For anyone who doesn't want to farm but ends up in a FBWGG lobby, I say stay for the match and don't quit. Nobody is forcing you to participate in the farming. Not farming is exactly what you should do. If more people did this, it might make people think twice about starting up farming lobbies with randoms.

It's also a lot of fun when you have two people in a game who are trying to farm, while the other two go off and do their own thing. They'll inevitably wipe and bail in the second or third round.

I'd love to actually have a "random" option in addition to the "any" one. Just some help from the matchmaking system to help avoid getting thrown into FBWGG farm runs.

I am heavy farming guy... and this is my premium spectre pack. It costs 1 or 2 FBWGG matches to buy PSP, for 99k credits. Some geth think they can outsmart me *sniff* maybe *sniff* maybe... I've yet to meet one that can outsmart grab

I'm not saying you guys are exaggerating, but I rarely ever get dropped into a fbwgg game when I search for uug matches. Either you guys are supremely unlucky or I'm supremely lucky, and judging by what I get out of PSP's I doubt I'm the latter.
