No, it's still not good. Compare the Eagle X (infeasible!!!!111111oneoneone) to Predator X:

Sustained DPS:
Predator X: 441.00
Eagle X: 440.94
(Nearly identical)

Burst DPS:
Predator X: 612.5
Eagle X: 624.67

Basically, the Eagle is still just a less-accurate, full-auto Predator. However, you'll probably never exceed Eagle III, which means that the Eagle is still rubbish.

They were both already good weapons. You just don;t know how to use them. But i'll gladly take a buff!! 

The math says other wise, sorry but no amount of "knowing how to use them" can change their numbers. GPR was beyond trash unitl it got buffed a couple times, it's still sub par on non-geth. Eagle, as already posted, still does sub par damage compared to other options. Better sure, but still not good enough.

Well, if you can  actually click the fire button at the 500rpm max, yes.  That's what, about 8 clicks a second?  I guess on PC with a mouse wheel or with a modded controller, but for legit console players I'm thinking few people are getting listed DPS for the Predator.  This might be a reason to finally try the Eagle.

You realize the GPR can get constant reliable headshots even without a stability or accuracy mod, right?

This just in the Eagle has finally jumped into the elite ranks of being almost decent on Bronze. Now Nerf it, it has become to powerful. Bad eagle, bad eagle trying to be better than the locust.

Well it just so happens that I can't fire at 500 rpm for a full game  much less do that and be very accurate, If you have the skill to do so well then the predator beats the phalanx and carnifex too. Eagle is now on par with the rest of the heavy pistols, the only question now is should N7 be on par with standard weapons?

As I just learned today, damage per single shot does count a lot on silver and gold, since damage protection of armored units works per shot.

Plus, on silver and gold, you wanna minimize the time out of cover for most of the classes, meaning every single shot has to count.

It's not all about DPS...

I spent an hour on this, but some of the pixels came out bad, and I accidentally made it to Tansger's nerf one, and not the one he wrote Buff on.

So can many other weapons that do more damage. Prior to its buffs, the only way to make the GPR very usefull was a Turian marksmen build and still the Vindicator was always it's superior even with that build. The GPR has great accuracy and always has, it just hits like a water gun even to the head. The best use for the GPR and the GSMG are as ammo power hoses to set up tech bursts.

This is true, but rest assured that the Predator X is going to easily outdamage the Eagle III by 10% against armor when using an AP mod.

Also true. However, for that, we consider burst DPS (i.e. the damage while your clip lasts), where we see that the damage is nearly identical as well. Furthermore, in terms of making every shot count, the Eagle is less accurate than the Predator, which means that even if the raw DPS numbers are the same, the Predator is likely to be the superior weapon!

I'm not saying that the Eagle is the worst weapon in the game. The Locust is a ready example of a weapon which is easily more gimped. The Eagle is not, however, a particularly good weapon, being less impressive than the starting pistol (which is actually a pretty good weapon, all things considered).
