So who else loves this beast of a character? Just unlocked him last night and holy. Maxed out Biotic Charge and doing one of those and following up with a melee is a deadly combination.

While you were reading this a Krogan Vanguard just destroyed a planet completley infested with reapers.

unless I am mistaken - rage is still broken on the Kroguard - better to follow up w/ a weapon.  I have a level 10 RC and a level 10 Claymore - I still prefer the claymore.  I'm currently running mine w/ level 3 Hydraulic Joints though.  That is some fun.

The only class I play. Now with the new shield boost 5 gear mod, the kroguard can be even more of an unstoppable tank.

I used to think kroguard was inferior to most classes in terms of dmg output, but combining reegar ridiculous dmg with the suvivability of kroguard I think the damage output is very good.

I've been trying some asari vanguard with maxed lift grenades and reegar, and although it can do more damage tha kroguard it has about half the survivability on gold in later waves.

The Kroguard doesn't need rage at all to be effective. My build is maximized for tanking and weapon damage. I melee only once in a while. I've never seen a Krogan soldier out point me on the battle field simply because they have to take cover more. The soldier is ok but I'd choose the Krogan sentinel over the soldier.

....then add shield boost gear on top of that. I took a full round from a cerberus turret and still had some shield left.

I usually use the Hurricane and its awesome. I tried Reegar but as my gun is only on level I the CD is too high in my opinion.

A 'biotic wind' if you will...

I regularly take turrets head on.

Ah, "LORD MWARHARHAR" the alien man missle.

I just finally unlocked mine's lights to make him appropriately sweet looking.

I just can't play him unless I host.

No I think it's still broken.
