Is bioware becoming the Next Origin Systems?

Well ME3 now is the shortest of the game with the best part in it being the damn MP that was forced in by EA who think SP is a dead idea. Taking away from things that should have been added into the Game such as fixing gltiches giving us a story without a massive Muguffin, and without all the selfless monopilization such as Figurines, Battlefield 3 promptions, and day one DLC to somethign that could have been in the game. Then we have the broken promises such as actual planetary exploration with Vehicals that was voluntary, multiple planets to land on and more then just the freaking citadel to visit. Oh and Need we forget making the Adept and Vangaurd absolutly useless in Boss fights specifically one where they are immune to all of you attacks.
But besides that Bioware games haven't been as great as DA origins and ME1 why? We can only assume. Now this studio is defending its self through a lie called artistic integrety. Yet I have find it interesting to see staff wandering around in the IT threads saying they agree or like it.
So who thinks this studio is going the same route as Origin did? Oh and EA's biggest insult was using the Origin systems Logo for that spyware steam nockoff.

Im not sure if any of you are old enough to remember, but in the 90s there were two companies called 3D0 and New World Computing. they had two successful series, Might and Magic, and Heroes Of might and Magic.
then Ubisoft bought them and ruined both franchises with the release of "Dark Messiah of might and magic".
this is sadly what the game industry is becoming. and it makes me cry.

If you want to blame anyone, blame average joe. Sorry, but in this case, the 99% are wrong...and have unfortunately taken over.

I do not think Mass Effect 3 is near the level of betrayal in Ultima 9. I mean that game contradicted everything happened in previous games. the only thing that is broken in ME3 is just the ending.
So the invalidation of ME1's plot, Cerberus being retconned into a galactic sith empire that overshadows the Reapers, auto-dialogue, Alliance officials acting like blubbering morons, choices from all three games being reduced to arbitary numbers, inane DA2 style fetch quests, shoehorned multiplayer to sell online pass and the mind boggling moronic crucible plot weren't in your copy?

That wasn't the game I played. Well, except for the Alliance officials acting like blubbering morons. Which is not too far from the smug morons we saw as higher-ups in the earlier games.

Those things definitely were in the game. You can disagree with some of the adjectives he used to describe them, but those elements themselves were definitely present.AlanC9 wrote...

Indeed. That was exactly the game I played. It seemed to get a bit lost somewhere - almost like someone picked up the concept and ideas of Mass Effect - and then put their own interpretation and spin on them.

There's also the whole issue of Javik and his mission being taken out of the core game in order to be sold as day 1 "DLC". Not to mention the abysmal handling of his character where you have this living Prothean COMMANDER with invaluable knowledge(combat experience against Reaper forces for one) being relegated to the role of a mere private in Shepard's goon squad.

Cerberus overshadows Reapers? From my understanding of ME3 plot, Cerberus is just a tool used and controlled by Reapers just like Saren. Saren can create huge army filled with mindless krogans so TIM can not do this to human? overall, TIM and Cerberus were destined to be vilians. Although the plot did not reveal when the illusive man was indoctrinated, but I thought this happened before ME3's intro, since he looked different when we met him on Mars and considering that he was messing around with reaper technolegy for a long time.

The same Cerberus who was severely financially setback by Lazarus/SR-2 (ME2) and almost completely wiped out (Retribution) pulling Battlecruisers, mechs, gunships, fighters and countless supersoldiers in power arrmor out of their ass in a few months time is completely nonsensical. ME3 is supposed be about the showdown against the Reapers not about fighting some crappy Brotherhood of Nod/Cobra knock off for half the game.
We could have had resources diverted to creating decent roles for the Batarians or Rachni if it wasn't for this idiocy.

And really EA can not possibly be happy with them right now.
That Dr. guy that came out on stage at e3 looked scared for his job and his life. Just embarrassed and ashamed and frightened.
I don't think Bioware is going to be around much longer.

Wasn't DMMaM actually pretty well received?
Or was that a joke....

The result is a company once renowned for its massive worlds and connection with fans releasing an incomplete game and shutting out their fans at every opportunity.
