basically just a strong female personality would be nice.  Morrigan is a sociopath and Lelianna thinks the Maker talks to her.  We get it Bioware, women are weak and need to be coddled by a strong male character.

What is so wrong with an intelligent, kind AND strong willed female character?  In every bioware game we typically get 1/3, sometimes 2/3.  

As for males, I don't really care, but I'd imagine it'd be nice to have more options than a bisexual man **** and a whining royal bastard.

To be fair about the strong woman thing, has there been any strong men that were romanceable in any bioware games. None come to mind.

I think we ladies got the somewhat older male to romance in Knights of the Old Republic, and I liked it that way. I did like Alistair but I prefer a romanceable male who's got a little more life experience under his belt. I'd prefer dark hair and a deep voice as well, but I would like for him to have a good sense of humor. I enjoyed Alistair's wisecracking nature but I found Carth more fun to interact with because he was more openly flirtatious. I would like my character to be able to flirt with her love interest and not necessarily in a very blatantly sexual way. I enjoyed hurting Carth's "man feelings" by calling him a hairless Wookie and a sexless marsh toad.

It's interesting to see this perspective on the female romanceable NPCs. I'm glad to hear that male gamers would like a stronger female to romance. I thought ME's Ashley was a pretty strong woman, but she was also very religious. Hm, I think I'm sensing a theme here...

I agree completely. A character kind of like Leonidas in 300 or Achilles in Troy would be perfect for me, honestly. Not just because they are sexy beefcakes with hot deep voices either... >>; I just love their personalities, strong and silent types that don't take any nonsense, they're also willing to defy the majority just to stand up for their beliefs. That would be the perfect romance option in my opinion. As much as I love Alistair in DAO, I'd likely drop him like a hot plate if a Leonidas like guy was in this game. xD I can't help it, guys like that are totally my weakness!

Ashley was feigning strength (pretty poorly) to cover up her many weaknesses.  To name a few:

1. Martyr complex
2. Xenophobia
3. Emotional instability

Though I will admit that both ME women were much closer to what I'd like to see in a female romancable than either Lelianna or Morrigan.

I'm very for this! I kind of feel like I'm taking care of these men. lol I'm already saving the world, it'd be nice to have a strong dominant male to take control.

I would have sworn that was Viconia. Jaheira was just a tad too naggy for me. Felt almost like dating my mother.

But I would love to have had a stronger female companion, human preferably and perhaps a tank, so that way I can dress her up in all the armor we find, mage's robes in this game are just ....fugly.
