I already played through on Insanity as a sentinel ubertank with defense matrix. I'd like to know what other players used for playing insanity.

Infiltrator is a lot of fun, really easy after a while with since head shot plus time dilation is really effective
only time you die is grenades or turrets
but the most fun I have was adept since if you play multiplayer going from asari adept to shepard adept is so much fun grab jarvik and laira and biotic explode your way to earth

Yeah, playing as sentinel with maxed health shields and damage protection got a little too easy. The final fight was a practically a cakewalk compared to my first playthrough on normal difficulty. Maybe Insanity just got me to fight smarter.

First run through was a Vanguard. Didn't have too many problems, but the game glitched on an autosave and corrupted the file near the end. 2nd try was an Infiltrator. The only problems I had there were pretty much any mission with an Atlas mech. Turrets and grenades are the big pita though. That last horde mode at the end is a nightmare. I tried to stay well back from the missile trucks on that and let my squadmates take down a lot of the enemies. When the music starts, you just have to run around a bit 'til EDI radio's in. Also, the Reaper beam can kill you in that last bit.
Marauder Shields is a ***** on Insanity.

Every class.
Sentinel as a bomber was the one I liked the least. IT just got repetitive which led me to abandon Throw altogether when I did Adept.
Other than that, I liked most of the other ones.
