I love the Batarian (or as I love to call them, the Brotarian) soldier because of the Ballistic Blades skill, they're easily the most fun skill in the entire game for me. So, obviously, I'd love to use them with my soldier Shep in the single player.
Is there a way to have then in the SP campaign?

Single player needs a lot of the new stuff for sure! Wouldn't it be awesome if create a character let you not only pick a class, but completely customize your load out of powers. One bonus power won't be enough with all the epic new stuff that's been added to the game lately.

For me that's why I like multiplayer so much more, it's just got so many options and different ways to play. Single player just can't compare at the moment.

Yeah, that would be awesome, basically eliminate the preset classes and let the players create their custom tailored "class". It'd add a lot of replay value too.

Taking away the presets would be a bad decision IMO. At least recomend the preset as default, or create your own if desired. Or perhaps you have to unlock power loadout customization?

As in, beat the game first before you can fully customize. That way, you have to access to lots of bonus powers to create your own class. Any subsequent playthroughs will allow customization.

And regarding multiplayer powers, why not when you unlock the character in Multiplayer through character cards, their powers are unlocked for singleplayer? Though this may cause tension for those who solely play Singleplayer.
