Can't see DLC on 2nd playthrough

Lion's Paw etc. work fine for 1 character. But I've started another
quest using a different character and I can't see those DLC items in
the inventory of the 2nd quest now.
This is in Lothering and I've checked under Journal that all of them
are enabled. Are those items only available to one person at a time??

Before loading the character in which DLC items are missing, from
the main menu, I disabled Feral Wolf Charm. Then I tried loading that
game/character and it said that the DLC needed to be enabled to load
the game.
So it seems that the DLC items are included in this 2nd playthrough, but just cannot be seen in or used from the inventory menu.
Like I said, no problems with Warden's Keep though. This is very stange.

playing as an archer elf the 2nd play through there were in a chest that I picked open, they were all sitting there.
Ah that could be it. Although during my first playthrough they all automatically appeared in my inventory as soon as I enabled them. Was it just a random chest you picked it from?

But stuff like Feral Wolf Charm, Guildmaster's Belt etc just appears on your inventory list, doesn't it?coldnstaind79 wrote...
Were some of those items camp vendored? Like I know a helm and a staff can be purchased from the guy in the party camp like the rest of the blooddragon armor set.

Dwarven Noble, you are stripped of everything and sent out into the Deep Roads, which inadvertently included DLC. Fixed in 1.02 patch. But you have to potentially start over to get everything back, even with the patch.
Dwarven Commoner, you are stripped and put in jail. When you escape you are supposed to get your equipment back from a nearby chest.
To get them back now, without starting over, If you disable all of your DLC, force load a save with them disabled, make a new save, exit and reenable all your DLC, load the new save again, you should get most everything back. (There are a few this doesn't work on for some reason.)

no, the chest was in the very beginning, it was locked at the camp (inside the forest) I can try to nab a screenshot if you like.tushart wrote...

All the DLC you start with is on a Dalish (Forest Elf) Character from the start. The only locked chest of any importance (the one that you need a key to get in) contains a heirloom of the PC's family, not DLC.

this is entirely untrue, and I will be glad to disprove it.Kepha wrote...

Thanks guys.
Out of curiosity where was the chest? The camp where The Joining happens? If you could upload the screenhshot, that would be great. I might get something else from there.Saiki-Spirt wrote...

I will upload a video shortly on youtube. can't say much about the mage/dwarf (not played a dwarf yet) but I know the dalish elf had them in a chest.
edit: ok, i was wrong, but it's not an heiloom in it either. I could have sworn it was in the chest, but the chest contians a gem for Shale in it.
