Chris is not in control of that. Ask someone else.

But I dont know who's in control and I know I wont get an answer, its just annoying as hell.

Edit: And I have seen Chris lurking around closing threads calling them porn, I haven't seen others.

Hmm, your thread title states you think Bioware wants you to go lesbian, yet you only reference Liara in the OP.... Ironically, Liara has no real gender. If you wanted to press the point in your title, why not throw Traynor's name in there too? Oh wait, I get what this is. This is yet another thread about how jealous people are of Liara's content. I never understand why these posters won't suggest improvements for their LI's content instead of tearing down on a character that some of us on the board actually enjoy....

PLEASE! This is straight from the codex...

"An all-female race, the asari reproduce through a form of parthenogenesis."

The Asari are monogendered, they are all female. Please stop lying to yourself and saying it isn't a lesbian relationship.

Bioware has only two types of audience they like right now. First is the shooter crowd, the second is the male crowd.

Garrus: He's awesome, one of the sweetest romance scenes ever (Citadel date), and his farewell is great, the voice acting was top notch.

Kaidan: ME3 Kaidan was improved amazingly well from his always whining-self in ME1. One of the best done character progressions in the series.

Thane: Yeah, such a shame what happened to him, but I found those last moments to be extremely well done.

While it may not have been BW's intention, it did feel like femShep was being pushed toward lesbian choices.

The parade of women after Thane's death? There couldn't be a one mission buffer between Thane's death and the room call ups?

That an imported femShep has two LI choices taken away? I don't care if one was dying and one was unpopular, they were straight choices for femShep. They were the only ones taken away while maleShep got to keep all of his. Why are only femShep's choices taken away?

Garrus is only available if your romanced him in ME2. Kaidan's only available if you didn't kill him.

So to make sure you had a choice in ME3 for straight femShep players, you had to romance Garrus in ME2 and keep Kaidan alive. But who had the foresight prior to ME3 coming out to do this? I think everyone thought their choice would carry over in some way.

If they were so intent on taking femShep's male choices, they should have made Garrus romancable without import. Then have Vega/Javik able to be an LI. It wouldn't make up for the lack of choice, but it's something.

I don't think there's any denying that straight femshep has very limited options.

Yes Vega should have been awailable, all his flirting didnt make sence when it didnt lead anywhere and fine maybe Bioware didnt do it intentionally but common, its not one but its two Li's thats been taking away. If they had such little time, they could have taken at least one Li away from male shep.

Oh and they didnt just take them away, they chose to humiliate shep when she talks to Jacob, he cheated and she doesnt even get the option to punch him in the face, instead there is an option to say "I understand" or "Kiss me please" with him turning her down.....

It's similar to Kaidan too. FemShep has to apologize for cheating, while maleShep can tell Ashley off. Why must only femShep apologize? Where's her option to tell Kaidan off?

There is no way I'm apologizing. I'd rather gibb out the romance with Kaidan than do that.

Or, you could not be a douche and not let Garrus die in ME2...
And why on earth would you want to play ME3 more than once (aside from possibly getting the insanity 'chievement)? Do you... enjoy the feeling of slamming your head against a desk?

Cracked me up thanks.

In all seriousness: You are completely right. If you are even remotely paying attention while playing ME2, you can't get Garrus killed unless you deliberately set him up to die. In which case... congratulations, you just screwed yourself out of a companion and female LI for ME3, should people now be rewarded for killing off characters deliberately?

And why would anyone want to play ME3 more than once after witnessing that ending?

BioWare just considers straight females to actually be straight males. \\o/

But you can't romance Garrus in ME3 without an imported romance from ME2. So it's not just the matter of keeping him alive, you have to romance him too!

Did BW think femShep players were going to be that clairvoyant and romance Garrus while keeping Kaidan alive? Were they supposed to know Jacob would cheat or Thane would die that early or without acknowlegment?

If Garrus was available from the start of ME3, it would have helped.

And they could at least have added some decent content to the only two male Li's awailabe to make up for it. Kaidan is gone first half of the game and when he joins he decides to play the "who can stay silent the longest" game and while Garrus got a bit more it still doesnt make up for it.

Unless an active Liara romance was imported, why did BioWare want lesbians to play a heterosexual FemShep in ME2?

Why did BioWare want gay men to play heterosexual ManSheps in ME1 and 2?

Sorry, but you're getting very little sympathy from me.

First of all, I dont really need your sympathy and second of all you do know that Kelly is a lesbian option too in me2 right? I am with you on the gay men part hence my point with this thread..... Bioware favores lesbianism girl on girl not boy on boy......

Sure they are awsome, I have nothing against lesbians, gays, bi's or hetero's, I just want same or at least close to same options as male players. Me1 and Me2 I had no major complaints, I liked Me1 more but Me3 is where they really "forgot" about straight female players.

Basically... if you don't force Garrus into a romance in ME2, or Kaidan dies = No straight romance options for FemShep in ME3. Pretty sloppy. Bioware should have made Vega a straight love interest available to FemShep.

Agreed. Femshep players got the shaft.
