Im curious to know if I need to have dragon age on origins to be able to download it? I only have it on disk at the moment.
I'd appreiciate any help with this.

So I buy the Stone prisoner DLC, and I go to the checkout page, but instead of "More info" or anything at the end of the line it just has two dashes there?

Short answer: No.
1) Update DA:O to patch 1.05
2) Start the game
3) Log in Online
4) Go to Downloadable Content and wait for it to sync.
DLC will download and install within the game-- unlike Mass Effect and DA2, which (wisely) rely on external executable files to install DLC.
