Dunno why it would matter now, since the event already took place, but the OP meant that in order to achieve any of the goals or both you needed to play the multiplayer on silver level or higher, thats for both objectives.

In case you are asking because you havent received the commendation pack, i advice you to contact Electronic Arts Help, using chat support and explain the operator your issue, it should grant you the pack after gathering some basic account information. (Just click on help, bottom of the page, and select live chat option)

Anyone happen to remember off-hand how quick these packs expire? I think mine may have expired from last Tuesday since I didn't get in to pick them up. If not, then me and a friend didn't get ours and we did complete an extraction with the proper character on silver during this event.

They last a week after being put on your account. You'll know whether its expired or not depending on whats in your account.
If you only have the Victory Pack, then its not expired yet but your Commendation wasnt awarded (so contact EA Live Support and they'll give you the Com pack)
If you have niether of the packs (Victory or Commendation) then the time to redeem them has expired.
