GMT is useful to all non-Americans, and a more universal time to derive your own timezone from than PST/Mountain time/etc.  I pretty much always have to convert from American time zones to GMT, then to where I am.

Not using GMT is even more useful to non-Americans.  It helps them learn to stop whining and convert timezones, both of which are an important skills for non-Americans to have.

Operation Mastiff must be completed on Silver OR BETTER. So Gold completions do count.

With regaurds to Operation Mastiff Bulldog, I have a few questions that have not been raised: -

1. What happens if you start a Silver game with a squadmate playing a Rebellion Character and before Extraction that squadmate is "autokicked" from the game / leaves? Is it close but no ciggar! (no Commendation Pack).

2. Can I to assume that the Firebase White / Geth on Silver, farming scam works the same (camp in the little room, hidding behind the counters). Before I get moaned at for this, I can play Silver games and mostly get extracted. Some of the newer players may lack the experiance to pull off a Silver Game and may need a little bit of the cards being stacked in their favour. I know I do, when doing the weekends extraction on Gold.

3. Seams most of the games (bronze / Silver) I have played this week have had at least one Reteval mission. So should be a pice of cake! Tea and Medels anybody.

4. I have a limited amout of time at the weekend, due to family commitments, but my two Male Quarins will be out and about on the Xbox. I tend to play public games , do I just create a lobby / game and wait for others to join me / find me or is their another way. (Still fairly new to this whole Multiplayer thing)

5. Why can I only ever get two characters from each of the DLC's - Batarian Sentinel, Krogan Battlemaster & the Two Quarian males! I need Geths!!!!!!!!!!

Have given all my other characters the weekend off.

Open your eyes. You yourself doesn't need to be the DLC character, just one person on your team

Reading though the thread I beleve you just have to be in a squad with a Rebellion character.

Math is failing pretty hard in this thread, although the correct answer, 7/16, was already given.

How you calculate it is you approach it from the other way. What is the possibility of not getting even a single Valiant out of two Commendation packs?

Easy: 3/4 * 3/4 = 9/16

Therefore, the chance to get at least one Valiant out of two Commendation packs is 1 - 9/16 = 7/16, or 43.75%.

Oh i admire you for your skill to do gold instead of silver, like normal lowly mortals like the rest of us. God forbid if you had to spend 20 minutes of your life on a silver match to reach a video game event goal. Someone might see and devalue your skill.

Haven't tried any silver matches in my week of multi-player experience so far, got a level 15 Human Vanguard II, and a level 12 Adept, what are my chances of completing a mission?

I'm looking forward to taking part in the mission though regardless of how much I may suck in a firefight (best weapons I have are a level II Eviscerator shotgun, and a m-92 Mantis II, just picked up a Reegar Carbine).

I play a fair amount, and in some people's opinion WAY too much. I am not the most skilled player, but also not a lame. I do a fair amount of Geth farming, and have all of my commons and uncommons maxed, most of my rares maxed, and my ultrarares/N7 weapons are in the low to middle numbers.

I have still not earned a single Rebellion class character to play with, and will enter the weekend without one it seems as I won't have a playing opportunity until Saturday afternoon.

Seems to be a pretty epic gap in planning, considering I am surely not alone ( others have made this post in this exact thread ) in this quandry.

It's also been stated that you don't need a Rebellion character to participate, just be on a team with one.

It is a personal goal.... Why would you not need to be the actual rebellion pack player since it is your "personal" goal? Further, why should my "personal" goal be dependent on finding a team member with a rebellion pack character and sufficient skill for me to drag thu a silver plus mission. What has been stated is far from clear in this regard, Thessair. Someone could certainly be more explicit to clarify.

Its a team goal.
One Rebellion Char in the Squad, one Member has to make it to extraction. Its quotet a gazillion times in this thread.

Agreed - iffy personal goal if you don't have a Rebellion class and reliant on teaming up with others to complete it. Rather have seen an extraction for either of the two Firebases included with Rebellion on Silver or above. Even just complete a delivery objective as a team for variety, don't want to see to many gold extractions or promote 3 characters to get the N7 weapons.
