Actually, having opened approx. 20 Premium Spectre Packs (PSP) over the course of the last week, and only having gained 1 Ultra-rare weapon upgrade -- this is very good news indeed!
Hopefully, I'll level up my hurricane :-)

there are tons of threads about that issue and other threads full of posts about it. You can retrieve it via EA support. I did it too, there even is a pictured step-by-step for that on these forum that I followed.
write them a contact Email about that you didn't get the packs and you will get it. easy.

actually, I think mastiff was chosen because this is a dogfight breed?
Not that i find this particularly funny or like such dogs in particular.

whats everyones problem here?! If you dont have one of the new characters just search for a game and look at the characters everyone is using in the lobby. If nobody has one, leave the lobby and search for another. Chances are most teams will be able to get through a silver match as long as you dont have too many new players on the one team. You can medigel revive and cobra missile yourself through wave 10 if you're really struggling! (i would hope you dont struggle this much though, Silver isnt that much of a step up from Bronze).

For those that have no idea what time the challenge starts and ends in GMT:

Challenge Start: 2am on Saturday
Challenge End: 12noon on Monday

So you will be better off doing the challenge Saturday or Sunday to ensure completion.

I know that it's been cleared up that by N7 they mean the collector's edition weapons, but maybe it would help if the regular ultra rares just had a black card with no N7 stripe, to avoid people getting confused in future.

well...
i opened about 10 Spectre Premium packs and 20 or 30 Spectre packs in the last week and i got only phoenix vanguard...
so you're very lucky to get 1 ultra rare weapon upgrade!
