Does seeing the splash screen mean that the operation has begun? Because I saw it earlier, and I was just in a game where I was one of 2 Vorchas in a Silver Geth mission on Firebase Giant, we did a "retrieval" mission, and everyone got away.

Is that me sorted?

I'm pretty sure that you're set. Personally, I'd try to get a few more tries in before the event is over just to be completely sure.

I'm pretty sure that you're set. Personally, I'd try to get a few more tries in before the event is over just to be completely sure.

I'll definitely be trying again tomorrow with friends who are currently in bed.

Operation MASTIFF (June 8th-10th)
We are dropping the new reinforcements onto occupied worlds to supplement resistance movements. Retrieving data of how the Reapers conquered those worlds is of paramount importance.
 
Allied Goal: Complete 100K  retrieval missions.
Personal Goal: Extraction on Silver difficulty with one squad member of the Rebellion Pack classes: Vorcha, Phoenix Project Defectors, or Quarian Male.
Special Circumstance: None.
 
Completion of the personal goal awards that player a Commendation Pack.
Completion of the allied goal awards all players a Victory Pack that has a guaranteed N7 weapon.

Operation Mastiff begins at 6pm PST Friday June 8 and ends at 4am PST Monday June 11
Packs will be distributed Tuesday Evening if the mission is successful.

Canot start ME3 at all. Just crashes at startup so this is it.

Other games start. Dragon age 2 starts. Other progrmas start but not ME3.

just went 10 games straight with no retrieval missions...... extream bad luck or r we being set up to fail again....... i really hope were not being set up to fail it would be really bad if they did it again soo soon after the banshee debocial......

why does the second post say we need to do a retrieval mission AND extract on silver or gold? the personal goal says just extract on silver with one rebellion character

Unfortunately, my first match as a PhoenixGuard left me flying high over the lovely vista of Dagger. Fortunately, this was in wave 11. Yeah, I don't think I'll be using him much unless I'm hosting. Poor PhoenixGuard, I hardly knew ye.

this whole thing seems not well thought out, what about people who haven't been able to unlock the new characters yet? there are some people who still don't have all of the BASE characters unlocked yet.
also, I haven't played a retrieval mission at all today.
