poorly worded in game description since gold counts and it's not clear if you have to be the new character or just SOMEONE has to. either way, i did it on gold and did a retrieval mission (that's not mentioned in game either) so i'm good to go. loving the vague specifications as of recent weeks.

Got about 10 silver extractions with my vorcha-sentinel & phoenix-vanguard, plus a few gold with GI but having new characters in the team. So personal goal should be down with flying colors.
On the other hand, the pizza objectives seem to be more rare than they used to be prior to the event...
When we had to hunt banshees, their number was increased, looks like similar measures were not made for this mission.

Have had time for about a dozen public silver missions this weekend, with about half of them using the new Quarian engineer. Only failed to extract twice, and have had about eight retrieval missions.

Great opperation, Easy targets considering the amount of players world wide.. nice prize for doing so too,.. im a happy player bioware ....
I have never seen such a game community as full of Troll's as mass effect... maybe thats the average age of players or something because there seems to be so many childish spoilt people in these forums...

And guys, if you dont realise that bioware do these missions as incentive for us, but also to keep large numbers of people playing you are clearly stupid.

I've had horror runs this weekend and only just managed to get an extraction on silver. For whatever reason, when I try to host the lobby never fills so I've been stuck on ridiculously laggy servers leading to such wonderful events as:
- 4 rounds in the clip of my Valiant
- headshotting an enemy, then having time to shoot him again before the server registers the original death
- running and randomly entering cover 4-5m behind where I was running
FRUSTRATION!
I have extracted though with my QME, and I'll keep using him to help some others if I can. The things I do for this ****in' game...

I've had plenty of "pizza" objectives, sometimes two in one match. Though I'm not sure if each individual one counts on its own or not. Hopefully the frequency with which I've had them will make up for the folks who haven't gotten as many. Seems much like the PSP's. You either win big or not at all.

Edit: Some people are reading this comment wrong. I'm not looking down on these players, I'm saying I underestimated the challenge. It was harder than it should have been but that doesn't mean I enjoyed playing with these people.

Awwwww...poor baby. Did you actually have to WORK towards achieving something? Words cannot express how much I sympathize. Come have a hot cup of cocoa, a didy change and a nice, relaxing nap. You must be so stressed and frustrated.
In other words: You can't hack it on Gold, thus you stay in Silver matches and look down on those who struggle on that level? You. Are. Pathetic.

its one thing to perform the delivery mission over and over with the same team than gaining new squadmates and doing the same mission...
get as many new teams as possible, go to new lobbies immediately after extraction and take a new team through with the new characters... get all of the new recruits experience in silver and a comm package...
I've already done 14 new lobby missions on silver.... which leaves me 6 more since my pledge to complete... and that starts now... if on xbox... get to work. stay on silver all day

Is it just me, or does the rate of "pizza delivery" objectives seem much lower since the operation began? From Rebellion release through Thursday night, I seemed to get at least 1 per mission. Since Operation began, I've gotten like 4, total.

same here... what is worse is being placed in game with a connection which is poor... there was already lag as soon as I materialized...
If we bypassed a week of regular changes to fix the glitches primarly I would be satisfied... been too long for them...

are you saying that you can't invite each other into a private lobby? that seems odd. are you sure it's not just your internet connection (ports)?
Correct. I have several posts concerning this in the tech forums. It isn't just us. We two other friends afflicted by the same problem. All of us can only connect to an entirely separate friend. He is the only one in our group has zero connection problems. People can't connect to us and vice versa. We're stuck playing quick matches. It is awful.
I think this might have something to do with security from your internetprovider. Some of them won`t let you connect to other pc`s/servers on the same broadband line. Something to do with not hacking your neighbour or something. Sucks:(

The BW is an ultra-rare weapon. Both the victory and commendation pack will contain an N7 weapon - Valiant, Crusader, Hurricane or Eagle.
