I played four games on Thursday with a total of twelve retrievals. Yes, all twelve. I have yet to approach that total after over 100 matches this weekend....

I'm almost positive that, given an equal distribution of probability accros the possible mission objectives, my experience represents a greater than at least 5 sigma event... E.g it would be a statistical outlier by over 5 times the norm.

Now the question becomes: Is Bioware using SPC (statistical process control) to influence the outcome of the event?

I don´t know. I had like ten games tonight and out of all objective waves, I got 4 pizzas. Not good.

Two weeks ago when we had that 3 million Banshees thing, I'm sure Bioware intended for us to fail just so they could test out having Banshees included in other factions and to promote the Rebellion DLC.

This time they set the bar low so they could introduce the new commendation packs. Not that I'm complaining.

I have now completed the personal objective 6 times, if I've got the rules right, and there was a retrieval job in all 6.

Personal Goal: Extraction on Silver difficulty with one squad member of the Rebellion Pack classes: Vorcha, Phoenix Project Defectors, or Quarian Male.


 If there are two vorchas do I still comlete the personal goal? The wording seems to indicate there can be only one rebellion pack class member. It doesn't say "at least one squad member" but specifically "one squad member".

 yet one would think if they wanted to test that new pack out they would make sure that every mission would have one or two retrieval missions per match. yet out of the 25 matches ive played this weekend ive gotten 3.... thats 22 with outand 3 with. from were im sitting that a bad ratio when during the week before every game i played had one may be two and i play three games a day soo thats 12 games with basicly 12 -18 retrieval missions.

Does anyone know if the Pizza objective is more common in bronze then in gold or silver because to me it feels that way. If it is more common in bronze then I'd like to know so I can play that more to help out with the goal.

If it is more common in bronze and silver it would make sense to some degree... it's pretty insane trying to lug the second object on gold... it usually lands on the farthest corner of the map and there always seem to be eight or more "big machine"s (as the vorcha would put it) between you and the evacuation zone. I've been with groups of players that are doing amazing on gold, and it's the retrieval missions that suddenly make them look almost as amateur as myself.

Can I suggest that you team up with a Infiltrator, and have the Infiltrator cloak to the objective, retrieve it, and return it?  I know cloak drops or you can't use it, but they've never seem to have issues with it (the ones I've played with).

It's not like they release the raw statistics and even then it's not like we have a 3rd party audit or anything. They could just say it succeeded or failed however they want.

If it's "rigged", then it's done very selectively; out of six successful attempts at completing the personal operation goal, all six included a retrieval job.

I've been getting pizza in 59% of my gold missions since the start of the operation.

That is 34 missions including 10 failed missions, 4 of which didn't go past wave 3, and not counting the extra pizza from 3 doubles.

So it seems to me that they have increased the likelihood of getting a pizza mission.

You need not have worried; as long as someone else in the group was using one of the new characters, it would have counted for you.

When I play as my quarian male I get a retrieval mission in all but one game this weekend I don't know why it's not giving everyone else the mission as often

I think I managed 8 missions this weekend. 6 out of 8 of them had retrieval, sometimes two or all the mission waves did for one session.

Played 4 or 5 gold matches tonight and think only 1 had a pizza delivery. Yesterday played mostly silver and I think about half had the delivery mission.

As for rigged or not, well it is supposed to be a war of sorts in which we win some battles and lose others. If losing means another twist like having banshees appear with other enemies....or perhaps maybe an entire new faction to fight against I am all for it.

Is it the case that if I (with all the DLC) was to go into matchmaking and get put into a lobby with at least one player (who doesnt have the DLC) then we will go into a match that doesnt have the pizza objective possible because it hasnt been downloaded by that one player?
