It just says silver, not silver or harder. So if you normally do gold, I'd just pop one quick silver match in. Quick and easy.

They only use "N7" to refer to the promotional weaponry, so it's the promotional weaponry.

The Premium Spectre Pack refers to the Ultra-Rares as "Ultra-Rares", so it's not a bad yardstick to use for the terminology.

Good thing they finally fixed the Victory Pack. It was worse than a Spectre Pack and people only cared about their Commendation Packs. Now people actually have a reason to do something to complete the allied goal.

Great idea! This operation

1. Listened to complaints about having squad goals being gold-based
2. Improved the victory pack considerably
3. Added a nice twist and incentivizes more players to burn cash on packs and get a Rebellions character.

Everybody wins!

i wish they increase the chance of getting a rebellion character(not including ex Cerberus) if we do complete the operation in victory and commendation packs

Exactly, Bioware does make a distinction between Ultra-Rares and promotion N7s. Store is evidence for indicating that they refer to (regular) Ultra-Rares as Ultra-Rares, while the explanation of Commendation Packs in Operation Goliath shows that they refer to the promotional weapons as N7.

 Stupid newbie question:  I've been playing multiplayer for maybe a week now and only play bronze (unless I screw up woefully and have level set to random).  I play bronze because I am a newbie and I suck.  I do try to be the best bullet sponge I can be, though (attribution to whoever deserves it).  I've yet to see a retrieval mission on bronze.  Are they only offered at silver and gold levels?  And, if so, will I be soundly cursed if I play a silver level during the course of the challenge because I want to join in on the fun?

Well I already got the Valaint 1 so I am good just need the other two weapons and really want to try the Hurricane and Eagle as they are now good from what I have heard lol

"Retrieval" is Wave 11 extraction, when Elvis is leaving the building.

Guys... Read the 2nd post by Chris. He says only 1 member needs to be from the rebellion pack, and that member doesn't even have to extract. As long as the team extracts with at least 1 rebellion member, you get the squad goal.

Except that it's not a squad goal, it's a personal goal to play as Rebellion character and get an extraction from silver.
The second post just clarifies the only one player has to extract part, to make absolutely clear that you dont have to personally extract.

one of the easier goals this time, vorcha on silver is almost immortal but the boost of Victory Packs is more than welcome

btw are we sure that the Victory Pack will give us promotional N7? or N7 in this case = normal ultra rare wpns?

Ok.  I might suck but I have seen Elvis leave the building a number of times.  The real kernel here -- since I don't think retrieval is an option on bronze -- is how much loathing will I generate if I attempt silver?

I would be very surprised if we do not see a "Rebellion" pack introduced this weekend.
