Victory packs have a guaranteed N7 weapon now? This is exactly what I was suggesting weeks ago to provide some incentive for the squad goals. Nice job Bioware.

It's very likely, apparently.

We've been seeing them experiment with the Victory Packs a bit lately to encourage completion of the Community Goals. Making it so there are two N7 weapons(not a N7 and an Ultra-Rare[Important distinction. The promotional guns are referred to as N7, the others are Ultra-Rares]) is a heck of an incentive.

It would be great if they did give out two n7 promos, but pretty naff if they did a switch without mentioning it - since everyone is used to having an n7 promo gun in their commendation pack.

It would also be pretty naff to assume that they would change the Commendation Packs without detailing it.

Add me (if your on xbox that is)I'll run ya through a silver match and get ya the pack for that part if ya want but the retrieval is in bronze too it just seems to happen less often.

I was running bronze about an hour ago and had two games in a row with all 3 objectives being Retrieval.

It's not that it "happens less often"; it's just random.

i think that the victory pack will contain an ultra rare and the commendation pack will still contain the N7.

Yeah, "operation mastiff" sounds a lot tougher than "operation beagle" or "operation chihuahua" haha

Ok.  I might suck but I have seen Elvis leave the building a number of times.  The real kernel here -- since I don't think retrieval is an option on bronze -- is how much loathing will I generate if I attempt silver?

Great idea for an Operation. Very doable if every match includes a wave with a retrieval objective.

Nice that Gold challenged players (like me) have a sporting chance to earn both packs.

Sounds like a fun operation. I'll be playing my new characters all weekend on silver, to help out as many other players as possible.

You don't need anyone to clarify.

The Victory Pack is now containing an N7 weapon. That is supplementing the current N7 weapon from the Commendation Pack.

It's a smart move. It ensures that even if one cannot participate in the Squad/Personal Goal, they still have a chance at a good reward by participating in the Community Goal.

As long as you are trying to contribute and reviving people when they are down, helping with hacks and not running around randomly on your own to screw up the spawns (not really that big of a deal in silver, but sometimes it bothers people), then the only people who will get angry at you are idiots.

If you aren't confident, then just hang out near a team mate and help cover them or something. Eventually you will get comfortable.
