with all the negativity, why are there not more requests/complaints about bug fixes?

we've had a constant rage on for a week about the issue of nerfing.

even if you feel very strongly one way, you at least understand that everyone doesn't agree with you.

every single one of us can agree that the game would be better without bugs, but that doesn't get nearly as much conversation.  as a whole, we just shrug and say "oh, more confirmed glitches".  some people even go out of their way to defend the bugs, or say "i know in my heart that bioware is working on fixes" which statement...i commend the positivity of, but see no evidence to make me share.

my purpose here is not to trash the game, which clearly i like since i play it a lot and come here to talk about.  it's a very good game with caveats.  if they got rid of some of those caveats, it could be awesome.  in terms of "constructive criticism", feedback about bugs seems far more important to me then about ballance.

fixing one broken power evolution- even just a single blue post *about* fixing one evolution eventually- would make me far happier than any ammount of ballancing or new content.

if all the posts about "please nerf/don't nerf weapons" were about "please polish some of the rough edges off your awesome game" we might at least get that blue post.

right now i feel like the waiter is pretending not to notice the fly in my soup.

Because there's so much new shiny stuff to complain about!

1. For most Bugs, Bioware has actually said they are aware of them, and are working on them; what was supposed to have been a succesful patch recently should, at the very least, tell us that they are aware of the Bugs. And for larger problems, such as connectivity issues, they will make a sticky about it.

And I do believe they're working on the bugs they are aware of- whether you see evidence or not doesn't change that I believe it, and if I believe it, why would I make a thread telling them to fix it? You're asking me to say "hey, I know you know about the bugs. And I believe you're already working on them. But could you.. work on them?"

2. Why can't we have both Nerf/Buff and Bug Fixes? Bug Fixes take more time- Balance Changes are just variables being rewritten. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if ( and I also believe that ) they have completely different people working on Balance Changes and Bug Fixes- so making threads about one isn't going to affect the likelihood of the other happening.

This. Even after the update that was supposed to fix everything, there are still game-breaking bugs like the vanguard glitch. At this point it just seems pointless to complain because Bioware can't seem to be able to fix the glitches.

please link one blue post supporting this.  that's not a troll, it would actually make me feel much better.  the only thing i can think of is the statement that they are "watching" the "list of glitches" thread, but they say in the statement that they cannot discuss which if any bugs they are fixing.

i'm not counting ping related issues, by the way.  i accept that anything ping related might just be impossible to solve without re-coding...whatever.

As much as I would like to be able to put your mind at ease, I'm afraid I'm not up to the task of going back through every thread in my history looking for such a post, or going back page by page of the forums looking for threads Bioware commented on- or however it is you expect me to find it. I just remember it in a couple of complaint threads in the past.

Well, the best solution for most of the bugs would be to just roll back to 1.02, in my opinion, but since that isn't happening, there's nothing for me to say.
