You will need to be far more specific. Please refer to the Sticky on top that says "Read First", and add the missing information requested there.

Apply the 1.05 patch. Among other things, it addesses some issues with nVidia GPUs running ver. 1.04 that were causing (me, and others in the beta test group) significant lag.

I'll chime in with a couple of thoughts. Thandal is correct... the 1.05 patch does help some Nvidia-related lag. Unfortunately, it appears Steam users aren't receiving the 1.05 update for Ultimate Edition. So, I would suggest you start a support ticket with Steam... if enough users complain, they may actually correct that oversight.
Another option would be to uninstall the game (backing up your saves, of course) and use the CD product key to digitally download the game from EA Origins... not a perfect solution, but one that may help in the long run.
If you don't want to do anything extreme... consider a few basic PC nest practices-- 1) make sure your Nvidia display driver is up to date. 2) Get in the habit of saving and logging out of the game after a few hours of play, rebooting your PC-- this will clear the system memory and also give a chance for your hardware to cool down a bit.

p.s. Thanks for proving complete info. It helps!

Ive noticed this lately too..It runs great on the hgihest setting for about an hour, then will begin laggin terribly..Idk my specs, im a mechanically declined when it comes to pc, and my wifes upgraded our system to decent gaming spec for how old the pc is (bout 4 yrs now)...The proccessor is the only thing we didnt upgrade..Ive had no problems runninggames until the last year or so with high-ultra settigns depending on the game, and even DAO ultimate runs on high for me fine..For about an hour..If i relog/reboot it will then run fine again..Liek i said, i know little about computers, so if theres some detail i need to list, just say so, ill ask meh wife >.< (i know..... embarrassing right?!)
I get the same result whether i play on high, low, or med..Or in any resolution, or setting combo really...All resulting in minor to major lag after a short while..Though i dont think ive had v1.05 yet...Reading through i didnt realize it wasnt auto installed...Ill try that when i get home from work today..
